Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00059 | $0.00675 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00030 | $0.00338 |

Grade A, and why
media3-tv-leanback-ui scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 65 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Trigger
Use for Android TV playback screens, remote/D-pad interaction, Compose for TV player UI, or maintenance of an existing Leanback app that uses media3-ui-leanback.
Rules
- Start with
streaming-media-architecturefor ownership and telemetry, then specialize for TV. - Pin Media3 to
1.10.1through the version catalog. androidx.leanbackis formally deprecated. Its release page states the artifact and its classes are deprecated and points to Compose for TV.media3-ui-leanbackwraps that deprecated stack.- New TV apps MUST use Compose for TV (
androidx.tv:tv-material) with the standard Media3 Compose surface (PlayerSurface/ContentFramefrommedia3-ui-compose). - Use Leanback plus
media3-ui-leanback(LeanbackPlayerAdapter) only when maintaining an existing Leanback app. DO NOT add it to new code. - When an existing Leanback app is being modernized, follow the official migration guide: https://developer.android.com/training/tv/playback/leanback/migrate-to-compose
- On both stacks, design for D-pad focus, visible selected state, back/menu behavior, and transport keys.
- Keep video controls readable at TV distance and safe from overscan/system UI.
- Use TV-friendly browse/playback flows; avoid phone gestures as required controls.
- Test focus order before claiming the TV UI is done.
Example
New TV app (Compose for TV):
tv-material = { module = "androidx.tv:tv-material", version.ref = "tvMaterial" }
media3-ui-compose = { module = "androidx.media3:media3-ui-compose", version.ref = "media3" }
Existing Leanback app, maintenance only:
media3-ui-leanback = { module = "androidx.media3:media3-ui-leanback", version.ref = "media3" }
Do Not
- DO NOT start a new TV app on Leanback or
media3-ui-leanback. - DO NOT ship a TV UI that requires touch.
- DO NOT hide focus state.
- DO NOT reuse cramped phone controls without TV spacing and focus checks.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

media3-tv-leanback-ui is a skill published in the GitHub repository sunnat629/android-media-pack (13 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0.
