mobile-app-audit

mobile-app-audit is a skill for Claude Code from suntay44/web-to-mobile-magic-plugin. It costs 51 tokens per session (681 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An audit workflow for an unfinished Expo React Native or Swift mobile app. It checks screens, navigation, APIs, login, storage, tests, and build configuration, and labels screens as implemented, partial, or broken.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it on the current workspace, a local folder, or a GitHub repository to prepare a factual mobile-app assessment.
Why use it?
It establishes what already works and what is missing before anyone proposes a completion plan.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00051 $0.00681
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00341
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00136
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00068

Security

Grade A, and why

mobile-app-audit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/mobile-app-audit.mjs), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 74 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

MobileApp Audit

Inspect an existing mobile app before completion planning.

Inputs

Accept one target:

  • No target: current workspace.
  • GitHub repository URL.
  • Local folder path.

Required Behavior

Do not propose implementation until the audit is complete.

For local repos, run the bundled audit script when available:

node <skill-dir>/scripts/mobile-app-audit.mjs <target-path>

Resolve <skill-dir> from the directory containing this loaded SKILL.md; do not resolve it from the user's working directory. The JSON covers screens, navigators, incomplete markers, missing config, and test coverage — do not re-read those files unless the JSON value is ambiguous.

Completion States

The audit script reports three screen states:

  • implemented — no incomplete markers were detected; runtime behavior still requires validation.
  • partial — has TODO, FIXME, an explicit placeholder/not-implemented comment, or return null without @ts-ignore. A normal React Native placeholder prop does not make a screen partial.
  • broken — has @ts-ignore combined with return null (type errors suppressed alongside empty render).

Report all three counts. Broken screens are higher priority than partial screens in the completion plan.

Expo Router Awareness

For apps using expo-router, the app/ directory uses file-based routing. The audit script excludes _layout.* files (navigator definitions) from the screen list. Group directories like (auth) or (tabs) are transparent routing segments — their children are the actual screens.

What To Identify

  • Framework: Expo SDK version, React Native version, or Swift/SwiftUI.
  • Package manager and scripts: start, build, test, lint, typecheck, eas build.
  • Navigation structure: stacks, tabs, drawers, file-based routing, and screen inventory.
  • Screen completion status: implemented, partial, or broken (see Completion States above).
  • API integration: implemented calls, stubbed or mocked endpoints, missing integrations.
  • Auth flow: implemented, partial, or missing. Session handling and secure storage status.
  • State management: complete, partial, or missing.
  • Native permissions: configured, missing, or untested.
  • Assets: present, placeholder, or missing.
  • Tests: present, partial, or missing by area.
  • Build config: app.json, eas.json, environment variables, signing.
  • Known blockers: broken imports, missing deps, type errors, or failing builds.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
