ty-sysblock-diagram-modeling

ty-sysblock-diagram-modeling is a skill for Codex from Suzhou-Tongyuan/sysplorer-mcp-server. It costs 134 tokens per session (1,440 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for creating, editing, repairing, arranging, checking, and verifying Sysplorer Sysblock diagrams. A Sysblock diagram represents system behavior with connected blocks, parameters, ports, feedback, or state-machine charts.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for block-diagram construction and edits, subsystems, connections, parameters, feedback, layout repair, StateMachine Charts, simulation, and delivery checks.
Why use it?
It provides a controlled way to change model structure and layout through official Sysplorer interfaces, then save, reload, and audit the result.

Written for Codex: agents/openai.yaml present.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00134 $0.01440
Opus 5.5 $0.00054 $0.00576
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00027 $0.00288
Haiku 4.5 $0.00013 $0.00144

Security

Grade A, and why

ty-sysblock-diagram-modeling scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 19d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 10 executable files (scripts/api_contract_resolver.py, scripts/audit_layout_input.py, scripts/audit_sysblock_layout.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Sysblock Block Diagram Modeling

Use this skill directly for ordinary Sysblock construction and editing. Concrete existing-model failures are led by ty-sysblock-model-debugging, which reuses this skill's applicable API, layout, save/reload, and audit constraints. When loaded as those constraints, stay in the debugger; do not reroute or restart its baseline. Construction-stage failures retain the original task context. Build and edit topology through official Sysplorer APIs; never write or patch Sysblock .mo topology text.

Core workflow

  1. Classify the task as parameter-only, topology, layout, StateMachine, repair, audit-only, or delivery.
  2. Freeze controller boundary, semantics, ports, types, dimensions, units, sample time, and required verification.
  3. Resolve only the APIs the task will call with scripts/api_contract_resolver.py. Known contracts require zero probes. For an unknown API, query its exact documentation once; treat ok=true with empty help_text as unresolved and use the targeted stdout/signature fallback in references/runtime-contracts.md. Probe one unresolved behavior once in a disposable task-owned model. Never probe on the target model or enumerate the full API by default.
  4. For topology/layout changes, create a coordinate-free sysblock-layout-input/v1 and run scripts/layout_input_tool.py prepare|audit. Plan before model mutation with scripts/layout_plan_tool.py block|statechart; use block --mode preconnect when RouteLine will run after connection. Read references/layout-workflow.md.
  5. Create components, configure variable ports, connect with ConnectPort, check every API return, and stop dependent work on failure. Use RouteLine only after placement is stable; read back nontrivial explicit routes.
  6. Save with the lifecycle sequence in references/runtime-contracts.md. Reopen/force-reload the exact saved target before final evidence collection.
  7. Execute every check, test, translation, simulation, layout review, and delivery action required by the parent modeling rules.
  8. Run scripts/audit_sysblock_model.py on the final saved model and raw structured evidence. Exit code 0 confirms only this Sysblock evidence audit; claim completion only after all parent-required validation succeeds.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ty-sysblock-diagram-modeling is a skill published in the GitHub repository Suzhou-Tongyuan/sysplorer-mcp-server (10 stars, last pushed 20d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 134 tokens to every session and 1,440 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-13.
