ty-sysblock-svdpi-codegen

ty-sysblock-svdpi-codegen is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Suzhou-Tongyuan/sysplorer-mcp-server. It costs 111 tokens per session (2,113 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for generating and checking SystemVerilog DPI wrappers around an existing Sysplorer Sysblock code-generation folder. DPI is an interface that lets SystemVerilog call generated C code; SystemVerilog is a hardware-design language.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create or refresh SV-DPI files such as wrappers, test benches, and simulator scripts, and optionally check them with ModelSim or Questa.
Why use it?
It verifies that the required generated-code directory exists and reviews generated metadata instead of treating wrapper file creation alone as proof of a working result.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00111 $0.02113
Opus 5.5 $0.00044 $0.00845
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00022 $0.00423
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00211

Security

Grade A, and why

ty-sysblock-svdpi-codegen scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 19d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/render_svdpi.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Sysblock SV-DPI Codegen

Orchestration layer for generating and verifying SV-DPI wrapper files on top of existing Sysplorer Sysblock codegen directories. This skill wraps around the bundled script scripts/render_svdpi.py; prefer the script over hand-editing generated wrapper files unless the user explicitly asks for a manual patch.

Core closed loop: Boundary check -> Codegen directory inspection -> Run generator -> Metadata review -> Testpoint handling -> Optional simulation -> Delivery

[!CAUTION]

Global Execution Discipline (Mandatory)

  1. Boundary first: Must confirm a usable codegen directory exists before any wrapper generation; if codegen does not exist yet, stop and route back to Sysplorer codegen.
  2. Codegen directory as fact source: Must NOT infer ports, step functions, or testpoints from memory; always read the codegen directory directly.
  3. Script first: Default to running scripts/render_svdpi.py over manual wrapper editing; only switch to manual patching when user explicitly requests.
  4. Metadata review required: Do not claim success from file generation alone if _svdpi_metadata.json shows unresolved testpoints or structural warnings that matter to the user's goal.
  5. Heuristics must be disclosed: Natural-language testpoint matching is heuristic; must explain this before presenting results.
  6. Delivery must be verifiable: Final output must describe actual completed actions, generated files, metadata review, and any warnings or unresolved items.

[!IMPORTANT]

Trigger and Language Rules

  • Response language should match user input language unless user explicitly specifies otherwise.
  • This skill applies only after a usable Sysplorer codegen directory exists.
  • When user asks to "generate model code" or "export code from the model", first complete Sysplorer codegen, then use this skill.
  • Do NOT use this skill for generic SystemVerilog DPI theory without Sysplorer wrapper generation work.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
