metasploit-cursor-harness: Skill for Cursor

.cursor/skills/winrm-pentest/SKILL.md

winrm-pentest is a skill for Cursor from Suzu-Testing/metasploit-cursor-harness. It costs 37 tokens per session (1,855 once invoked), scanned B, original, MIT.

A security-testing guide for Windows Remote Management (WinRM), a Windows service for remotely managing computers. It covers identifying the service, checking authentication, testing authorized credentials, and examining remote access.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it during an approved Windows or internal-network assessment when ports 5985 or 5986, or the WinRM service, are found.
Why use it?
It provides a focused workflow when WinRM is exposed, while noting that password testing can lock accounts and must follow the engagement rules.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00037 $0.01855
Opus 5 $0.00018 $0.00928
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00371
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00186

Security

Grade B, and why

winrm-pentest scanned grade B with 2 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Harvests environment variablesmediumData exfiltration

Enumerating or grepping the environment for keys collects credentials unrelated to what the mod says it does.

- Dump credentials, enumerate AD, pivot to other hosts

Downgraded: this mod is about security review, or the phrase is quoted, so it is likely naming the pattern rather than instructing it.

WinRM Pentest

Prerequisites

  • Target is in scope (scope/scope-master.txt, engagement ROE).
  • Domain targets: load internal-ad-pentest and windows-pentest.
  • Brute force may lock accounts. Confirm ROE before spray attacks.

Ports and detection

Port Service
5985/tcp WinRM over HTTP (WS-Management)
5986/tcp WinRM over HTTPS

WinRS (legacy) uses same ports but different protocol stack. WinRM is the modern WS-Management interface; WinRS is the command-line wrapper (winrs /remote:...).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

winrm-pentest is a skill published in the GitHub repository Suzu-Testing/metasploit-cursor-harness (3 stars, last pushed 13d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 37 tokens to every session and 1,855 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it B with 2 findings (harvests environment variables, makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
