MikroCLAW: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/mikrotik-backup-snapshot/SKILL.md

mikrotik-backup-snapshot is a skill for Claude Code from Syamsuddin/MikroCLAW. It costs 77 tokens per session (760 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A MikroTik router backup and configuration snapshot workflow. It creates a binary `.backup` file on the router and saves selected settings as JSON for later comparison or documentation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to back up a MikroTik router, export key settings, document its configuration, or prepare for a change.
Why use it?
It gives you a recoverable copy before router changes and a smaller record for checking what changed. The binary backup requires write access; the JSON snapshot is read-only.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00077 $0.00760
Opus 5 $0.00039 $0.00380
Sonnet 5 $0.00015 $0.00152
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00076

Security

Grade A, and why

mikrotik-backup-snapshot scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

MikroTik Backup & Snapshot

Prasyarat

  • Membuat backup biner = operasi write → butuh MIKROCLAW_ALLOW_WRITE=true.
  • Snapshot JSON murni read-only (selalu bisa dilakukan).
  • Jika write nonaktif, lewati langkah backup biner dan lakukan snapshot saja — beri tahu user.

Tool yang dipakai

  • mcp__mikroclaw__create_backup — buat file .backup (write)
  • mcp__mikroclaw__list_files — konfirmasi file backup ada + ukuran/waktu
  • Snapshot read: system_identity, system_resource, list_interfaces, list_ip_addresses, routing_table, firewall_filter_rules, firewall_nat_rules, address_lists, dhcp_servers, dhcp_leases, dns_settings, dns_static, ip_services, simple_queues, vlans

Prosedur

  1. Backup biner (jika write aktif & user setuju): create_backup dengan name bermakna (mis. pra-perubahan-<konteks>). Lalu list_files untuk verifikasi file .backup muncul; laporkan nama, ukuran, waktu. Jika tak muncul → laporkan gagal.
  2. Snapshot JSON.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
