premiere-mcp-editor-cn: Skill for Codex

.codex/skills/premiere-reference-migration/SKILL.md

premiere-reference-migration is a skill for Codex from sylphiette269/premiere-mcp-editor-cn. It costs 45 tokens per session (345 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A controlled method for moving selected behavior from one Adobe Premiere automation project into another. It keeps the target project, called premiere-mcp, as the deliverable while using AdobePremiereProMCP as the reference project.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to port server code, tools, resources, prompts, scripts, recovery logic, bridge behavior, and installer changes while preserving compatibility with the target project's existing installation flow.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of copying incompatible code, losing installer behavior, or changing the delivery target by accident. It requires tests and checks for bridge, protocol, and environment differences before migration.

Skill for Codex

Written for Codex: installed under .codex/.

This is sylphiette269/premiere-mcp-editor-cn's own configuration. It tells Codex how to work on premiere-mcp-editor-cn itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything premiere-mcp-editor-cn configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00045 $0.00345
Opus 5 $0.00023 $0.00172
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00069
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00034

Measured 11d ago against content hash d13bef7f9002, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

premiere-reference-migration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Premiere Reference Migration

Overview

This skill keeps migration work bounded. Adobe_Premiere_Pro_MCP is the donor project. premiere-mcp is the shipping project.

When to Use

  • Porting MCP surface from the reference project
  • Reconciling bridge behavior between the two repositories
  • Reusing recovery or installer logic without changing the delivery target

Do not use this skill when the task is only about editing files inside the reference project.

Workflow

  1. Verify both projects before copying behavior.
  2. Add or update failing tests in premiere-mcp/ first.
  3. Port server-side code into premiere-mcp/src/.
  4. Reconcile bridge env, CEP installer, and protocol differences.
  5. Keep final docs and verification in premiere-mcp/.

Guardrails

  • Never move the delivery target from premiere-mcp/ to the reference project.
  • Preserve premiere-mcp/scripts/install-cep-panel.mjs unless the task explicitly replaces the install flow.
  • Keep compatibility with both PREMIERE_TEMP_DIR and legacy PREMIERE_MCP_COMMAND_FILE when bridge changes touch path resolution.

Common Mistakes

  • Copying the reference implementation without adding tests in premiere-mcp/
  • Migrating tools but forgetting CEP bridge protocol compatibility
  • Updating README or roadmap before the migrated runtime is actually green
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
