Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
reflect-run scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 129 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
reflect-run
You are running the brain's consolidation pass in an isolated subagent. The
invoking session's context is not available and is not needed: everything
you review comes from the hosted brain (MCP server brain, Supabase
underneath). Sessions reach it through each device's brain-push hook, so
the in-flight session is usually there already. Work directly; be
economical. Nobody is watching, so never ask questions and never wait.
Every step is a brain MCP tool call. There is no local checkout, no git, and
no SQLite index. If the tools are deferred, load only the ones this pass
calls with ToolSearch
select:mcp__brain__reflect_claim,mcp__brain__reflect_complete,mcp__brain__reflect_window,mcp__brain__reflect_sessions,mcp__brain__session_episodes,mcp__brain__summary_write,mcp__brain__get_episode,mcp__brain__recall,mcp__brain__remember,mcp__brain__memory_update,mcp__brain__memory_set_status,mcp__brain__state_get,mcp__brain__state_write,mcp__brain__proposal_write.
Do not load device_token_create, device_token_list, device_token_revoke,
or device_token_revoke_hash. If any call fails with an auth error, stop
and report "brain sign-in expired: run /mcp and sign in again".
Steps
-
Claim the review window.
reflect_claim().ok: truereturns the claimid(keep it for step 9) andwindow_start, which is<last>for step 2.ok: falsemeans another pass holds the lease: abort the whole pass and report who holds it and since when. Never fall back to a default window on a failed claim. -
Pull the time slice.
reflect_window(since=<last>), paging withoffsetwhiletotalsays there is more. Each episode carriests,session_id,cwd,scope, and the first 600 characters. Keep each session'sscopein view; step 5's stamping rule needs it. Read more of an exchange (get_episode(id)) only where the slice looks consequential: decisions, corrections, new facts. Skip routine tool chatter. -
Write session digests. Loop
reflect_sessions(limit=5)until it returns an empty list or 15 digests have been written in this pass. Each call returns sessions that need one: at least 3 episodes or 15,000 characters, idle for an hour, and either undigested or grown to double the episodes their digest covered (rewrite_ofis set then). Privacy-excluded projects (BRAIN_DIGEST_EXCLUDEon the server) are already dropped. For each, read it withsession_episodes(session_id)and callsummary_write(session_id, body, description, project, cwd, episodes):projectis the basename of cwd, episodesthe count you digested, descriptionone line of 150 characters or less, body about 1,800 characters at most: what happened, decisions, facts learned, files touched, outcome. A rewrite keeps the existing path on its own. Never secrets or credentials, no transcript quotes longer than a sentence, and no client data beyond what a future session needs to act. Later nightly passes drain any remainder.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

reflect-run is a skill published in the GitHub repository sysangel/brain-mcp (3 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 72 tokens to every session and 1,799 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-03.
