ai-agents-workspace-starter: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/ux-audit/SKILL.md

ux-audit is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from systemowiec/ai-agents-workspace-starter. It costs 36 tokens per session (809 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A checklist for reviewing a web interface for accessibility and ease of use. It covers keyboard access, screen readers, color contrast, forms, loading feedback, and responsive behavior.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review pages and components, check WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements, and improve forms, navigation, loading states, and empty states.
Why use it?
It helps find barriers that can make an interface difficult or impossible to use, as well as confusing states such as missing feedback or validation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00036 $0.00809
Opus 5 $0.00018 $0.00404
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00162
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00081

Measured 12d ago against content hash 027acee51b8e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ux-audit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

UX/Accessibility Audit

Overview

Structured checklist for finding and fixing accessibility and UX issues in frontend code.

When to Use

  • Reviewing a new page or component for accessibility compliance
  • Auditing existing UI for WCAG 2.1 AA gaps
  • Improving interaction quality (loading states, feedback, empty states)
  • Preparing for accessibility review

When NOT to use:

  • Full page redesigns (that's a design task, not an audit)
  • Backend logic changes
  • Performance optimization (use performance-audit)

Checklist

Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)

  • All icon-only buttons have aria-label
  • All form inputs have associated <label> with htmlFor
  • Required fields marked with visible indicator + aria-required
  • Color contrast meets 4.5:1 ratio (text) / 3:1 (large text)
  • All interactive elements reachable via Tab key
  • Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements (focus-visible)
  • Images have meaningful alt text (or alt="" for decorative)
  • Skip-to-content link present on pages with nav
  • ARIA roles and landmarks used correctly
  • Screen reader announces dynamic content changes (aria-live)

Interaction Quality

  • Async operations show loading state (spinner/skeleton)
  • Button clicks provide immediate feedback
  • Form submissions show success/error messages
  • Disabled elements explain why they're disabled (tooltip)
  • Multi-step processes show progress indicator
  • Empty states have helpful guidance / call-to-action
  • Destructive actions require confirmation dialog
  • Error messages are actionable (tell user what to do)

Visual Polish

  • Consistent spacing and alignment
  • Hover states on all interactive elements
  • Smooth transitions for state changes (150-300ms)
  • Consistent icon usage (size, style, spacing)
  • Responsive behavior on mobile breakpoints

Code Patterns

Good:

// Accessible button with ARIA label
<button
  aria-label="Delete project"
  className="hover:bg-red-50 focus-visible:ring-2"
  disabled={isDeleting}
>
  {isDeleting ? <Spinner /> : <TrashIcon />}
</button>

// Form with proper labels
<label htmlFor="email" className="text-sm font-medium">
  Email <span className="text-red-500">*</span>
</label>
<input id="email" type="email" required aria-required="true" />

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ux-audit is a skill published in the GitHub repository systemowiec/ai-agents-workspace-starter (2 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 36 tokens to every session and 809 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
