passkit

passkit is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from TalissonVitorino/kmp-ios-skills. It costs 228 tokens per session (4,477 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An iOS development guide for Apple Pay payments and Apple Wallet passes using Apple's PassKit framework. Apple Pay handles payments for physical goods, services, donations, and your own payment processor.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create payment requests, collect shipping or billing details, present Apple Pay controls, process payment tokens, and create Wallet passes.
Why use it?
It helps distinguish Apple Pay from StoreKit, which is for digital purchases and subscriptions, and from FinanceKit, which reads a user's own financial data.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00228 $0.04477
Opus 5 $0.00114 $0.02239
Sonnet 5 $0.00046 $0.00895
Haiku 4.5 $0.00023 $0.00448

Security

Grade A, and why

passkit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

PassKit — Apple Pay & Wallet (iOS)

Apple Pay checkout and Apple Wallet pass integration for a fintech iOS app, grounded in Apple's PassKit framework. import PassKit (and import PassKitUI is not needed — SwiftUI controls ship in PassKit).

Apple Pay vs StoreKit — pick the right one first

  • Apple Pay (this skill): payment for physical goods, physical services, donations, or transactions processed by your own payment processor (card networks → your PSP → your bank). You receive an encrypted payment token.
  • StoreKit / IAP (storekit): digital content, in-app currency, and app subscriptions. App Review rejects Apple Pay used for digital goods.
  • FinanceKit (financekit): read the user's own Wallet transactions and balances — orthogonal to taking a payment.

Contents

Setup & entitlements

  • Merchant ID: create merchant.<reverse-dns> in the Apple Developer portal; add the Apple Pay Payment Processing capability in Xcode (writes the com.apple.developer.in-app-payments entitlement listing your merchant IDs).
  • Wallet passes: the Wallet capability + a Pass Type ID (pass.<reverse-dns>) are needed to sign .pkpass files server-side and to scope PKPassLibrary reads to your passes.
  • Register merchant IDs / process tokens with your payment service provider (Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, etc.) — they either decrypt the token or you do it with your Apple Pay Payment Processing certificate.
  • merchantIdentifier in code must exactly match the entitlement value.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
