Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
motion-state scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 102 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Motion State
The layer that turns a motion project into data the agent can see and edit.
Today, the agent's only window into a project is scene.js — strings of GSAP calls it has to read, parse, and rewrite. That is not a chatcut loop; that is "edit source code with chat." This skill replaces it with a queryable, mutable state.
Target agent
This skill is not a general-purpose animation tool. It is the data backbone for agents that already possess — or are paired with — strong frontend aesthetics or multimodal design capability. The state layer stores timing and primitive choices; it does not make design decisions for you. Selecting the right primitive, dialing motionIntensity, choosing args.direction / args.stagger, and locking a single accent all require design judgment that this skill assumes you have.
If the agent lacks aesthetic direction, do not use this skill in isolation. Instead:
- Load the design-layer skills first (
motion-design-taste,motion-recipes,motion-anti-slop) to establish the motion mode, aesthetic family, and anti-slop guardrails. - Use the
/motion-craftcommands (/init,/shape,/animate) which orchestrate the design-to-state pipeline. - Only then write
state.jsonand letscripts/state-to-scene.mjsgenerate thescene.js.
The contract
Every /studio project carries a state.json at its root:
{
"schemaVersion": 1,
"duration": 8.0, "fps": 30, "width": 1080, "height": 1920,
"accent": "#FF5A1F",
"layers": [
{ "id": "headline", "selector": ".headline", "type": "text", "content": "Hello" }
],
"beats": [
{ "id": "b1", "layerId": "headline", "primitive": "splitReveal",
"at": 0.4, "duration": 0.9, "args": { "direction": "up", "stagger": 0.06 } }
],
"assets": []
}
This file is the source of truth. scene.js is generated from it (node scripts/state-to-scene.mjs). render.mjs reads duration / fps / width / height from it.
Runtime
skills/motion-state/runtime.mjs exports:
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

motion-state is a skill published in the GitHub repository taotao135791-bit/gsap-transform (2 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 133 tokens to every session and 1,399 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
