Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00110 | $0.01113 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00044 | $0.00445 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00022 | $0.00223 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00111 |
Grade A, and why
prepare-post-media scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 83 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Prepare media for a post
Media lives in a per-workspace library and is referenced by id: upload once,
reuse the id in as many posts as you like. Settle the workspace first
(list_workspaces) — a media id from one workspace is refused in another, and
a storage key is refused outright.

You cannot make the picture
These tools ingest files; nothing here generates an image or a video. If a post needs media and the user has not provided any, ask for it. Do not describe an image you intend to produce, and do not fetch a stock photo from the open web on the user's behalf — that is someone else's licence, and they did not ask for it.
Getting a file in
| Situation | Tool | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| The file is already online | upload_media with url |
The usual case, and the cheapest |
| A large file, or anything in production | create_media_upload → HTTP PUT the bytes → attach_media |
Bytes go straight to storage, never through this conversation |
| A small image you already hold as bytes | upload_media with base64 |
Images only; avoid for video |
| A local path | upload_media with path |
A development server only — it reads its own disk. The hosted server does not offer the argument at all |
| It is already in the library | list_media |
Reuse the id instead of uploading twice |
The presigned route is three calls on purpose: create_media_upload returns an
uploadUrl and a storageKey, you PUT the raw bytes to that URL with the
matching Content-Type, then attach_media records it with the same
workspaceId you presigned in.
Shaping it
Images are reformatted on the way in, to the canvas the format argument names:
feed_square(1:1),feed_portrait(4:5 — the largest an Instagram feed shows),landscape(1.91:1),story(9:16, also what a reel or a TikTok photo wants),original(untouched).fit:covercrops to fill (default),containpads so nothing is cut off.crop:smartfinds the subject (default),centreis predictable — better for posters, screenshots and flat graphics composed around their middle.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

prepare-post-media is a skill published in the GitHub repository target1m/ravenpost-mcp (1 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 110 tokens to every session and 1,113 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-13.
