validate-idea

validate-idea is a skill for Claude Code from Team-Deepiri/deepiri-axiom. It costs 35 tokens per session (294 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A business-idea validation guide based on testing whether people have a real problem and will pay for a solution. It emphasizes manual experiments, specific potential customers, and signs that support or weaken the idea.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps assess a problem, identify an initial customer group, run a small manual test, and decide whether to continue, gather more evidence, or change direction.
Why use it?
It helps avoid spending time building a product before confirming demand. It replaces vague enthusiasm with evidence from existing workarounds, customer conversations, and payment tests.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00035 $0.00294
Opus 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00118
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00059
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00029

Security

Grade A, and why

validate-idea scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Validate idea

Validation = selling, not building. Prove pain and payment before platform work.

Steps

  1. Problem — Who exactly? Current workaround? Hair-on-fire or mild?
  2. Manual first — Can you deliver value by hand this week?
  3. Payment — Will 3+ people pay (even $1)?
  4. Weekend test — Can the first wedge ship in a weekend?

Red flags

  • No existing workaround; can't name 10 people; friends-only enthusiasm; must educate market they have the problem.

Green flags

  • Paying for inferior solutions; you delivered manually and they loved it; community already complaining; you scratch your own itch.

Deepiri

  • Check deepiri-dataset-processor output and docs/ for existing signal
  • If validated → mvp / processize; if platform wedge → deepiri-axiom + axiom-architect

Verdict output

Validated | Needs more validation (next experiments) | Pivot (directions)

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
