flowbite-ui

flowbite-ui is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from tecbay/laravel-ai-skills. It costs 88 tokens per session (2,280 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A library of ready-made interface components for Tailwind CSS, a CSS framework for styling web pages. It includes components such as menus, dialogs, forms, tables, and charts.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for building web interfaces with Flowbite components, Tailwind CSS classes, data attributes, JavaScript APIs, themes, and dark-mode styles.
Why use it?
It avoids rebuilding common interface pieces and provides documented ways to add their browser interactions and dark mode.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one.

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is @source "../node_modules/flowbite";.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00088 $0.02280
Opus 5 $0.00044 $0.01140
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00456
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00228

Measured 9d ago against content hash 8e490876c365, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

flowbite-ui scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Flowbite — Tailwind CSS UI Components

Flowbite is a Tailwind CSS plugin + component library. Components are HTML + Tailwind utility classes. Interactive components (modal, dropdown, accordion, etc.) use data attributes or the JavaScript API.

Targets Tailwind CSS v4 + Flowbite latest (NPM). All components support dark mode via dark: variants.

Installation (NPM — Tailwind v4)

npm install flowbite

resources/css/app.css (Laravel) or input.css:

@import "tailwindcss";
@import "flowbite/src/themes/default";

@plugin "flowbite/plugin";
@source "../node_modules/flowbite";

@custom-variant dark (&:where(.dark, .dark *));

Include JS — pick one:

// Bundler (Vite/Webpack) — auto-binds data attributes
import 'flowbite';
<!-- CDN -->
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/flowbite/dist/flowbite.min.js"></script>

Two ways to use interactive components

1. Data attributes (preferred)

Add attributes to HTML; Flowbite JS handles events automatically.

<button data-modal-target="my-modal" data-modal-toggle="my-modal">Open</button>
<div id="my-modal" tabindex="-1" aria-hidden="true" class="hidden fixed inset-0 z-50 ...">
  <button data-modal-hide="my-modal">Close</button>
</div>

2. JavaScript API (programmatic)

import { Modal } from 'flowbite';

const modal = new Modal(document.getElementById('my-modal'), {
  placement: 'center',
  backdrop: 'dynamic',
  onShow: () => {},
  onHide: () => {},
});

modal.show();
modal.hide();
modal.toggle();

Framework SPA re-init

After DOM updates (Vue, React, Livewire, Alpine), re-bind data attributes:

import { initFlowbite } from 'flowbite';

onMounted(() => initFlowbite());   // Vue
// or after Livewire navigate / Alpine x-init

Or init specific components: initModals(), initDropdowns(), initAccordions(), etc.

Instance manager (v2.0+)

Access instances created via data attributes:

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

flowbite-ui is a skill published in the GitHub repository tecbay/laravel-ai-skills (2 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 88 tokens to every session and 2,280 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
