Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00112 $0.02216
Opus 5 $0.00056 $0.01108
Sonnet 5 $0.00022 $0.00443
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00222

Security

Grade A, and why

laravel-shopify scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Laravel Shopify (kyon147/laravel-shopify)

Laravel package for embedded Shopify apps: OAuth install, session-token auth, shop model, Admin API (REST/GraphQL), webhooks, billing, and App Bridge. Composer package is kyon147/laravel-shopify; PHP namespace remains Osiset\ShopifyApp (fork of osiset/laravel-shopify / gnikyt/laravel-shopify).

Current target: v27.x — PHP ^8.2, Laravel ^12 || ^13. Underlying HTTP client: gnikyt/basic-shopify-api.

Quick start

# Migrating from the old package?
composer remove osiset/laravel-shopify

composer require kyon147/laravel-shopify
php artisan vendor:publish --tag=shopify-config
php artisan migrate

Partner Dashboard URLs (must be HTTPS):

Setting Value
App URL / callback https://your-domain.com/
Allowed redirection URL https://your-domain.com/authenticate

Minimal .env:

SHOPIFY_APP_NAME="My App"
SHOPIFY_API_KEY=
SHOPIFY_API_SECRET=
SHOPIFY_API_SCOPES=read_products,write_products

User model must implement the shop contract:

use Osiset\ShopifyApp\Contracts\ShopModel as IShopModel;
use Osiset\ShopifyApp\Traits\ShopModel;

class User extends Authenticatable implements IShopModel
{
    use ShopModel;
    // Laravel 10+: remove/comment 'password' => 'hashed' cast — password stores the offline API token
}

Home route (required name home) + Blade layout:

Route::get('/', fn () => view('welcome'))
    ->middleware(['verify.shopify'])
    ->name('home');
@extends('shopify-app::layouts.default')

@section('content')
    <p>You are: {{ $shopDomain ?? Auth::user()->name }}</p>
@endsection

Disable CSRF for Shopify session tokens (Laravel 11+ in bootstrap/app.php):

$middleware->validateCsrfTokens(except: ['*']);

Conventions

Item Convention
Config config/shopify-app.php (publish tag shopify-config)
Shop = User Auth::user() is the shop; domain in name, offline token in password
Auth middleware verify.shopify (session token + shop verification)
Webhook middleware auth.webhook
Proxy middleware auth.proxy
Scopes check verify.scopes
Billing gate billable
Webhook jobs app/Jobs/{Type}Job via php artisan shopify-app:make:webhook
Views override resources/views/vendor/shopify-app/...
Namespace Always Osiset\ShopifyApp\... (not Kyon147\...)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
