enrich

enrich is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from technicalpickles/pickled-claude-plugins. It costs 28 tokens per session (367 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A processing step that turns an ingested insight into a polished zettelkasten note, a small note designed to stand on its own and link to related ideas.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it on an inbox note marked as an ingested insight to rewrite it in place and mark it as enriched.
Why use it?
It replaces rough intake text with a clearer title, prose, context, and processing status while preserving existing note details.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00028 $0.00367
Opus 5 $0.00014 $0.00183
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00073
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00037

Measured 4d ago against content hash 96c6f575b704, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

enrich scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Enrich Stage

Turn an ingested insight note into a proper zettelkasten note with a clean title, well-written prose, and complete frontmatter.

See references/pipeline.md for stage definitions and status flow. See references/note-patterns.md for the Insight Note template. See references/zettelkasten.md for naming conventions.

Input

An insight note in the inbox with status: ingested and type: insight.

Process

  1. Read the ingested note
  2. Rewrite the body as clean prose (1-3 paragraphs) using the Insight Note pattern from references/note-patterns.md
  3. Improve the title if needed (should be descriptive and specific)
  4. Add a ## Context section with brief description of what session produced this
  5. Update status to enriched in frontmatter
  6. Write the updated note using the Write tool (read first, then rewrite)

Output

The same file, now with:

  • Clean, well-written prose body
  • Descriptive title
  • Context section
  • status: enriched

Constraints

  • Don't create a new file. Enrich in place.
  • Preserve all existing frontmatter fields (provenance, source-session, etc.)
  • The note should be useful months later to someone with no context
  • Keep it concise. 1-3 paragraphs, not an essay.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

It adds 28 tokens to every session and 367 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
