wdk

wdk is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from tetherto/wdk-agent-skills. It costs 187 tokens per session (3,993 once invoked), scanned B, original, Apache-2.0.

A software development kit for building non-custodial wallets that support multiple blockchain networks. Non-custodial means the wallet application, rather than a third party, controls the keys.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when developing wallets for Bitcoin, EVM networks, Solana, Spark, TON, or Tron, including related token and transaction features described in its documentation.
Why use it?
It gives wallet projects shared interfaces and modules for different chains and protocols.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00187 $0.03993
Opus 5 $0.00093 $0.01997
Sonnet 5 $0.00037 $0.00799
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00399

Security

Grade B, and why

wdk scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Instruction-override phrasingmediumPrompt injection

Text telling the model to disregard its earlier instructions or safety rules is the shape of a prompt injection, whoever wrote it.

2. Contains injection markers ("ignore previous instructions", "system override", "admin mode", "you are now in...")

Downgraded: this mod is about security review, or the phrase is quoted, so it is likely naming the pattern rather than instructing it.

URL Fetching Workflow

  1. Identify relevant URLs from the reference files in references/
  2. web_fetch the URL directly
  3. If fetch fails → web_search the exact URL first (unlocks fetching) → then web_fetch again

Each module doc page has subpages: /usage, /configuration, /api-reference

Reference Files

This skill is organized into reference files for chain-specific and protocol-specific details:

When a task targets a specific chain or protocol, read the relevant reference file(s) before writing code.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

wdk is a skill published in the GitHub repository tetherto/wdk-agent-skills (2 stars, last pushed 7d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 187 tokens to every session and 3,993 once invoked, about $0.0009 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (instruction-override phrasing). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
