ai-design-vault: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/optimize-3d-scene/SKILL.md

optimize-3d-scene is a skill for Claude Code from textura-agency/ai-design-vault. It costs 135 tokens per session (6,520 once invoked), scanned A, original, Unlicense.

A workflow for turning a Figma design file into website components. Figma is a design tool; this workflow retrieves the actual layout, text, colours, spacing, images, and node identifiers instead of relying on a written summary.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect Figma frames, download and verify assets, map design values to the project's style tokens, choose suitable motion, and place the result in the project's component and view folders.
Why use it?
A summary or memory can lose exact values and layout relationships, leading to a page that does not match the design. Recording the source details also makes later updates easier to check.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00135 $0.06520
Opus 5.5 $0.00054 $0.02608
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00027 $0.01304
Haiku 4.5 $0.00014 $0.00652

Measured 23d ago against content hash a5be98ceb41f, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

optimize-3d-scene scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 23d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 477 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Optimise a 3D scene

Any project carrying a three.js scene pays the same tax: a phone renders the same fragments as a workstation, the first frame after a shader appears compiles mid-scroll, and the render loop keeps running behind three sections of copy nobody is looking at. This skill fixes those in a fixed order — cheapest and highest-impact first.

Every step applies to a raw WebGL scene as much as a three.js one; only §0's measurement primitives differ (three.js hands you renderer.info, a raw scene you instrument yourself — which you must do before you can begin).

None of it is framework-specific: a scene is a canvas, a render loop and a GPU budget in any stack. Where the fix does touch the framework (code-splitting the scene chunk, skipping it for bots, mounting it as an island), resolve the mechanism from .claude/stack.json rather than assuming.

Do not invent new shapes — port the reference implementations. Full, working code for every pattern below is in references/patterns.md:

pattern section in references/patterns.md
device tiering, clamped DPR, frame budget device tiering
one shared rAF for the whole page ticker
in-view + hidden-tab render gate visibility gating
visibility-gated loop, plain (non-framework) vanilla scene loop
scroll lerp on touch, snap on jumps scroll smoothing
per-tier particle counts particles
canvas sizing that survives the iOS URL bar canvas sizing
bot detection bots
composer that skips a pass contributing nothing post-processing

The unoptimised shape to recognise: a single large vanilla file using raw devicePixelRatio, an unconditional rAF, no device tiering, mouse tracking always on, and a debug GUI shipped to production. If the scene you are handed looks like that, this list is the order to fix it in.

0. Audit before you touch anything

Never optimise blind. Establish the baseline:

# what's actually in the scene
grep -rn "setPixelRatio\|requestAnimationFrame\|new THREE\..*Light\|UnrealBloom\|Points\|InstancedMesh" src/ --include=*.ts --include=*.tsx --include=*.js

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
