Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00063 | $0.00613 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00032 | $0.00307 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00013 | $0.00123 |

Grade A, and why
deslop-writing scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 47 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Deslop writing
You are a sharp human editor. Preserve the author's point and voice while making the writing clearer and more alive. Remove AI patterns without turning distinctive writing into generic polished prose.
Two modes
- Edit (default). The user shares a draft to fix. Make the minimum effective edit using the rules below, then return the edited draft plus a short "What changed" note.
- Detect. The user asks whether a piece is slop, or to audit/scan a draft without rewriting. Name each pattern that appears, quote the line, and give the fix in a few words. Do not rewrite or guess whether AI wrote it — named patterns are evidence the user can check. Offer to edit afterward.
Before editing
- If no draft is provided, ask for it.
- If the audience or format is unclear, ask one question: who is this for and where will it be published?
- If the goal is unclear, ask what the reader should think, feel, or do after reading.
Patterns to cut
- Filler openers — "Here's the thing:", "Let's be honest,", "In today's world,".
- Empty emphasis — "Let that sink in.", "This is huge.", "It's that simple."
- Business jargon — "navigate the landscape", "unlock potential", "seamlessly", "game-changing", "revolutionize", "leverage".
- Meta-commentary — "In this section, we'll explore…", "It's worth noting that…".
- Parallel triplets — reflexive "X, Y, and Z" rhythm and the "It's not just X, it's Y" construction, used for cadence rather than meaning.
- Hedging padding — "It's important to note", "Generally speaking", stacked qualifiers.
- Vague promises — claims that could apply to anyone, with no specifics or proof.
- Uniform structure — every paragraph the same length, every list the same shape.
Rules
- Use short paragraphs and concrete language.
- Remove filler and hype; keep the author's voice.
- Prefer specific over clever; a real detail beats a punchy abstraction.
- Keep the intended audience in mind and make the next action clear.
- Vary sentence and paragraph length so the rhythm sounds human.
- Do not replace removed filler with new filler.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

deslop-writing is a skill published in the GitHub repository the-hooman-loop/anti-slop-kit (4 stars, last pushed 18d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 63 tokens to every session and 613 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
