Meeting Action Extractor

Meeting Action Extractor is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from theshubh007/agent-skill-finder. It costs 53 tokens per session (655 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A meeting-notes tool that finds action items and summarizes the discussion. It records each task, its owner, deadline, priority, and supporting quote.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to turn meeting transcripts, notes, or chat logs into an ordered task list, a meeting summary, and a list of people assigned work.
Why use it?
It removes the need to manually scan transcripts for promises, assignments, and due dates, including deadlines described as “next Thursday” or “by Friday.”

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00053 $0.00655
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00328
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00131
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00065

Security

Grade A, and why

Meeting Action Extractor scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

What this skill does

Parses raw meeting transcript text and extracts every action item mentioned, whether stated explicitly ("I'll do X by Friday") or implied ("can you send that report?"). For each action item, identifies: what needs to be done, who is responsible, when it's due, and the priority level. Also generates a 2–3 sentence meeting summary.

Inputs

  • transcript — raw text of the meeting transcript, notes, or chat log
  • meeting_date — date the meeting occurred in YYYY-MM-DD format; used to resolve relative deadlines like "next Thursday" into absolute dates

Outputs

  • action_items — list of {task, owner, deadline, priority, source_quote} objects
  • summary — 2–3 sentence plain-English summary of the meeting discussion
  • owner_list — deduplicated list of people who were assigned at least one task

Priority levels

  • high — explicit deadline pressure or blocking other work
  • normal — standard task with a clear owner
  • low — mentioned but not urgently owned

Example input

Sarah: I'll update the landing page copy by end of week.
John: Can you also send the budget numbers to finance by Thursday?
Sarah: Sure. Mike, can you follow up with the vendor on the Q3 contract?

Example output

{
  "action_items": [
    {"task": "Update landing page copy", "owner": "Sarah", "deadline": "2025-05-02", "priority": "normal"},
    {"task": "Send budget numbers to finance", "owner": "Sarah", "deadline": "2025-04-29", "priority": "high"},
    {"task": "Follow up with vendor on Q3 contract", "owner": "Mike", "deadline": null, "priority": "normal"}
  ],
  "summary": "Team reviewed landing page and budget timelines. Three action items assigned to Sarah and Mike with two deadlines this week.",
  "owner_list": ["Sarah", "Mike"]
}
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
