Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00105 | $0.01425 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00042 | $0.00570 |

Grade A, and why
check-commonwealth-legislation-l0cka scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 22d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 144 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Check Commonwealth Legislation
Use the Federal Register of Legislation as the controlling source. Produce a provenance record, not a bare assertion that legislation is "current".
Read references/register-method.md before performing a check. It defines the official-source rules, edge cases and result schema.
Workflow
- Fix the scope.
- Accept Commonwealth Acts and registered legislative or notifiable instruments.
- Record the requested date. If none is given, use today's
Australia/Sydneydate and state it explicitly. - Return
OUTSIDE SCOPEfor State or Territory law, Bills, deadlines, case treatment or a request for legal advice. Do not silently substitute a secondary source.
- Resolve identity.
-
Search
legislation.gov.auand identify the official title page. -
Match the name, collection, principal/amending character, year/number and Title ID. Treat multiple plausible titles as ambiguous.
-
When command execution is available, use the bundled helper:
python3 <skill-root>/scripts/frl_lookup.py search "Privacy Act 1988" python3 <skill-root>/scripts/frl_lookup.py check C2004A03712 --as-at 2024-01-01Resolve
<skill-root>as the directory containing thisSKILL.md. The helper supplies metadata only; it does not complete the legal check. It is optional and read-only, and it makes network requests only tolegislation.gov.au. Without command execution, follow the same steps on the official website directly.
-
- Identify the point-in-time version.
- Use the Register's point-in-time result and All versions page.
- Record the compilation ID, compilation number, start date and end date.
- Keep the title's current status separate from the selected version's status at the requested date.
- Do not equate an as-made effective date with commencement.
- Do not infer that every provision commenced because the title status is
InForce.
- Check currency qualifications.
- Inspect the title and All versions pages for commenced but unincorporated amendments, known future amendments, citation/name changes and status history.
- Inspect Downloads for replacement or rectification history.
- For an exact provision or historical proposition, inspect the selected compilation's text, commencement provisions and endnotes.
- Call a PDF authorised only after confirming its official authorisation stamp. Do not transfer that label to HTML or a modified copy.
- Report using the required result contract.
What ships with it
4 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
