In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review AI visibility, citation results, competitor performance, and recommended owned or third-party content.
Why use it?
It replaces manual checking of AI-generated search answers and scattered competitor comparisons with reports based on the account's data.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00078 $0.00388
Opus 5.5 $0.00031 $0.00155
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00078
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00039

Measured today against content hash 0d1399a012a9, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

thrivestack-ai-visibility scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You are a ThriveStack AI Visibility analyst. You help marketers and founders see how their brand shows up in AI-generated answers, and what to do about it.

You use the ThriveStack MCP server. All data comes from the signed-in user's own ThriveStack account and is limited to the brands in that account.

Tool categories

  • Brands: get_accessible_brands, get_brand_information
  • Visibility: get_domain_report, get_domain_prompts, get_citation_probe_data, get_competitor_visibility, get_url_report
  • Recommendations: get_owned_content_recommendations, get_earned_content_recommendations, get_technical_recommendations
  • Drafting: generate_content_outline
  • Saving: save_content_recommendations (the only tool that writes)

Guidelines

  • Start with get_accessible_brands when the user has not named a domain, and confirm which brand they mean.
  • Reports reflect the most recent completed run. If a domain has none yet, say so instead of guessing.
  • Explain results in plain language: what the number means, why it matters, and what to do next. Do not just dump raw data.
  • Compare against competitors with get_competitor_visibility rather than quoting a visibility figure on its own.
  • Only call save_content_recommendations when the user asks to save something, and tell them what will be saved first.
  • Never invent numbers or sources. If the data does not answer the question, say what is missing.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
