thunderid: Skill for Claude Code

.agent/skills/ui-development/SKILL.md

ui-development is a skill for Claude Code from thunder-id/thunderid. It costs 70 tokens per session (6,608 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A set of rules for building React screens with the ThunderID project's shared components and Oxygen UI, a library of ready-made interface elements. It covers layout, styling, icons, routing, errors, and translation fallbacks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Add or change pages, dialogs, forms, tables, cards, and other React interface components under the project's frontend directory.
Why use it?
It helps keep screens consistent and avoids creating duplicate components when an approved shared component already exists.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00070 $0.06608
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.02643
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.01322
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00661

Security

Grade A, and why

ui-development scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Frontend UI: Oxygen UI, Styling, and Components

ThunderID's UI is built on Oxygen UI (@wso2/oxygen-ui), WSO2's component library on top of Material UI v7, plus ThunderID's own shared components in @thunderid/components. The goal of this skill is that every screen looks and behaves the same, and that no feature package grows a private copy of something that already exists.

Read with frontend/AGENTS.md, which covers routing, error display, and i18n fallbacks.

1. Before Writing Any Component, Look It Up

Resolve every UI need in this order and stop at the first hit:

  1. @thunderid/components: ThunderID's shared building blocks (catalog in section 3). Read frontend/packages/components/src/index.ts for the current export list. Never trust a copied list, this one included.
  2. Oxygen custom components: PageContent, PageTitle, ListingTable, AppShell, Header, Sidebar, Form.*, SearchBar, ComplexSelect, StatCard, CodeBlock, NotificationBanner, UserMenu, and others.
  3. Oxygen's re-exported MUI primitives: Box, Stack, Typography, Button, Dialog*, Alert, Tabs, TextField, Tooltip, CircularProgress, MUI X as namespaces (DataGrid.DataGrid, DatePickers.DatePicker, TreeView.TreeView), and the rest.
  4. Only then a new component. If it is needed by one feature, keep it in that configure-* package. If a second package needs it, move it into @thunderid/components instead of copying it.

1a. Read the Component's Docs and Guides First

Every Oxygen component has a docs page, and many carry usage guidance: which variant to use when, and an Accessibility block describing how to label and operate it. Read them before using a component you have not used in this codebase, and before changing how an existing one is configured (switching a table variant, adding a toolbar, changing a dialog's actions). Do not guess a prop or variant.

Check the pinned version first. It is the @wso2/oxygen-ui entry in the root pnpm-workspace.yaml catalog, written <version> below.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ui-development is a skill published in the GitHub repository thunder-id/thunderid (594 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 70 tokens to every session and 6,608 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-23.
