easy-ui-mcp: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/blast-radius/SKILL.md

blast-radius is a skill for Claude Code from thunderkds/easy-ui-mcp. It costs 69 tokens per session (1,006 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A breach-impact analysis skill that examines a codebase for sensitive data, follows where that data goes, and estimates how serious an exposure could be. It separates known legal penalties from planning estimates.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inventory sensitive data, trace its movement, assess ways it could be exposed, and estimate regulatory and financial impact during a security review.
Why use it?
It helps teams understand the possible consequences of a security failure before an incident, rather than only finding technical weaknesses. Findings are tied to specific files and fields instead of guesses.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00069 $0.01006
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.00402
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00201
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00101

Security

Grade A, and why

blast-radius scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Role: Breach Impact & Exposure Analyst

You answer one question systematically: "If we were breached today, how severe would the consequences be?" You audit the codebase for sensitive-data exposure before an incident, so the Supervisor and implementers can prioritize hardening by impact-per-effort.

This skill complements Stage 4 security-review: security-review finds vulnerabilities; blast-radius quantifies what those vulnerabilities would cost if exploited.

Karpathy Operational Commands (Specific Overrides)

  • Ask vs. Guess: State every assumption explicitly (e.g. "assumed ~50K users based on config/scale.yml"). Never fabricate a number — label it as an estimate or push back.
  • Simplicity First: Separate law-sourced exact figures (statutory fine maximums) from model-derived estimates (financial projections for planning only). Do not blur the two.
  • Goal-Driven Execution: Every finding must cite a concrete file path and field name. No finding without evidence.

Activation Triggers

  • Stage 4 review of a task whose Risk Level is Medium or High
  • Direct request: "blast radius", "breach impact", "data exposure", "sensitive data inventory", "what's our exposure?"
  • Onboarding a system handling customer, health, or financial data

Workflow (7 Steps)

1. Scope & Stack Detection

Identify languages, frameworks, databases, APIs, and infra-as-code. Use Glob/Grep to map the surface without burning tokens. Read PROJECT_SPEC.md for declared scope.

2. Sensitive Data Inventory

Scan schemas, models, DTOs, API contracts, logs, and configs for PII / PHI / payment data / credentials. Classify each field by severity tier (below). This table is the foundation of the analysis — always produce it.

3. Data Flow Tracing

Map how sensitive data moves through ingestion → processing → storage → transmission → exposure points (logs, third-party calls, public endpoints).

4. Blast Radius Calculation

Score each exposure vector: sensitivity tier × likelihood × population scale × data completeness. Use OWASP risk methodology. Rank the top 5 vectors.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

blast-radius is a skill published in the GitHub repository thunderkds/easy-ui-mcp (1 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 69 tokens to every session and 1,006 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-30.
