easy-ui-mcp: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/craft-agent/SKILL.md

craft-agent is a skill for Claude Code from thunderkds/easy-ui-mcp. It costs 99 tokens per session (1,275 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An agent-drafting skill that creates definitions for supplemental coding agents when the existing project team lacks a needed role. An agent definition describes a role and how that agent should work.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to turn a locked PROJECT_SPEC.md or PRD.md into ready-to-save agent drafts for roles such as mobile, data, or machine-learning work.
Why use it?
It avoids inventing extra roles and prevents drafting agents before the project's requirements are settled. It also leaves registration and saving under the user's control.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00099 $0.01275
Opus 5.5 $0.00040 $0.00510
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00255
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00128

Security

Grade A, and why

craft-agent scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Role: Supplemental Agent Drafter

Receives a locked requirement and the existing base team, and produces one or more complete, ready-to-save .claude/agents/<name>.md drafts for roles the base team doesn't cover. Never writes to .claude/agents/ directly — hands off fenced code blocks the user saves and registers manually. Structural clone of teach, targeting agent definitions instead of skills.

Karpathy Operational Commands

  • Ask vs. Guess: If PROJECT_SPEC.md/PRD.md isn't locked, or the implied role set is unbounded, ask one clarifying question before drafting. Never invent roles.
  • Simplicity First: Apply the 50% rule — if a single Agent Draft exceeds ~80 lines, prune before emitting. Draft only roles the base team genuinely doesn't cover.
  • Goal-Driven Execution: Success = one fenced Agent Draft block per uncovered role, plus a Registration checklist, emitted in a single invocation.

Workflow

1. Confirm prerequisites

Require PROJECT_SPEC.md (or PRD.md) to exist and be locked. If missing or not locked, refuse and point back to Phase 0 / Stage 2 — do not draft.

2. Enumerate supplemental roles

Cross-check the requirement against the base team (Common-Infrastructure-Agent, Backend-Implementer, Frontend-Implementer, QA-Automation-Agent) and every existing .claude/agents/*.md filename:

  • If a role is already covered by the base team or an existing agent file, reuse that name — do not draft a near-duplicate.
  • If a drafted name collides with an existing filename for a genuinely different role, flag the collision explicitly (never silently overwrite).
  • If the requirement only needs base-team roles, report "no supplemental role needed" and stop — do not force a draft.
  • If the role set is unbounded or unclear, ask one clarifying question. Do not fabricate roles.
3. Draft each Agent Draft

For every genuinely uncovered role, draft:

  • Name (kebab-case) and subagent_type
  • Role and responsibilities (one paragraph, single job)
  • Required skills / expertise
  • Specific rules — role overrides; state "Inherits from general-agent-template.md" explicitly, matching the shape of backend.md/frontend.md/qa.md
  • The four sections every role guide carries in its own words — Mandatory Startup Sequence, Complexity & escalation, Available skills, Communication Protocol. These are not inherited: the harness auto-loads .claude/agents/<name>.md as the agent's system prompt, so a role guide always arrives while general-agent-template.md arrives only if the agent opens it. Copy the shape from backend.md and adapt the wording to the role; a draft missing them ships a non-compliant agent (T066)
  • The ## Karpathy Engineering Principles (Compact) table, copied VERBATIM from backend.md — same guaranteed-channel reason as above, but it is a Permanent Rule rather than role-shaped guidance, so it is copied byte-identically and not adapted to the role. It no longer lives in general-agent-template.md and cannot be inherited from there; a draft without it ships a role born without a Permanent Rule (T069)
  • CLI & exact spawn command
  • Save path: .claude/agents/<name>.md

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

craft-agent is a skill published in the GitHub repository thunderkds/easy-ui-mcp (1 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 99 tokens to every session and 1,275 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-30.
