dag-starten

dag-starten is a skill for Claude Code from TimoBakx/ai-journaling-template-nl. It costs 37 tokens per session (1,279 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A start-of-day journaling workflow that creates the day's journal file and fills it with planned work, meetings, and unfinished tasks from the previous day.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it at the first interaction of a workday to create the daily file and prepare the day's plan.
Why use it?
It gives the day a consistent starting record and keeps carried-over work visible instead of relying on memory.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00037 $0.01279
Opus 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00512
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00256
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00128

Measured 17d ago against content hash 82a3dcf9265f, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

dag-starten scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 17d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Dag Starten

Stappen

  1. Dagbestand aanmaken

    • Locatie: journal/[JAAR]/[WEEKNUMMER]/
    • Naamconventie: [DAGNUMMER]-[dag]-[DATUM].md (bijv. 3-woensdag-2026-03-11.md)
    • Dagnummers: 1=maandag, 2=dinsdag, 3=woensdag, 4=donderdag, 5=vrijdag
    • Template: journal/daily-journal-template.md
  2. 0-aanvang raadplegen

    • Lees journal/[JAAR]/[WEEKNUMMER]/0-aanvang-week-[WEEKNUMMER].md

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
