ai-analysis

ai-analysis is a skill for Claude Code from tmargolis/career-navigator. It costs 55 tokens per session (660 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A career assessment that estimates AI and automation displacement risk at the task level using the Anthropic Economic Index, a dataset about how AI is used across work tasks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to compare current and target roles, identify lower-risk strengths, and reframe career narratives around durable differentiators.
Why use it?
It helps show which parts of a role are more exposed and where a person’s experience or positioning may need to shift.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00055 $0.00660
Opus 5 $0.00028 $0.00330
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00132
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00066

Security

Grade A, and why

ai-analysis scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Invoke the analyst agent to assess AI and automation displacement risk for the user's current and target roles.

Workflow

1. Confirm data exists

Read {user_dir}/CareerNavigator/ExperienceLibrary.json and {user_dir}/CareerNavigator/profile.md. If the ExperienceLibrary units array is empty or profile.md has no target roles:

"I need your ExperienceLibrary and target roles to run a displacement assessment. Run /career-navigator:add-source to add a resume, then /career-navigator:launch to set your target roles."

Otherwise, proceed.

2. Invoke analyst — Operation 3

Hand off to the analyst agent with:

  • The full CareerNavigator/ExperienceLibrary.json
  • The full CareerNavigator/profile.md
  • Instruction to read references/AI_Job_Report-Anthropic-2026-03.pdf before analysis

The agent will decompose the user's current and target roles into tasks, score each task against the Economic Index, build a role-level risk profile, identify durable differentiators, and suggest narrative reframes where needed.

3. Present the assessment

**AI Displacement Assessment** — {Role}

{1–2 sentence highlight: overall risk posture and the single most important durable differentiator to lead with}

Overall risk profile
  High displacement risk tasks:    {n}%  — {examples}
  Moderate displacement risk tasks: {n}%  — {examples}
  Low displacement risk tasks:      {n}%  — {examples}

Tasks most likely to be automated (2–5 year horizon)
- {Task} — {why it's at risk per Economic Index data}

Durable strengths
- {Capability} — {why it is low risk and likely to grow in value}

Narrative reframe
{If the user's positioning overweights high-risk tasks, specific suggestions for reframing toward durable capabilities in resume summaries, cover letters, and outreach}

Adjacent capabilities worth developing
- {Skill/area} — {why it's strategically valuable given the user's existing foundation}

Source: Anthropic Economic Index, {report date}

If multiple target roles are present in profile.md, run a separate assessment for each and present them in sequence.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
