Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00029 | $0.00477 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00015 | $0.00238 |

Grade A, and why
prototype-ux scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Prototype UX
For UI-bearing initiatives, de-risk the experience before build: produce wireframes or a clickable prototype, run a short usability test, and record what was learned. For initiatives with no UI surface, this skill is a no-op (state surface: none and skip).
Prerequisites
- Apply the shared PDLC conventions in
skills/pdlc/references/shared.md. prd.mdwith functional requirements.
Steps
- Determine whether the initiative has a UI surface. If not, write
prototype.mdwithsurface: noneand stop. - Map the key user journeys the prototype must cover (tie to
FR-Nrequirements). - Produce the lowest-fidelity artifact that lets a user walk the journey: sketches, wireframes, or a clickable prototype. Fidelity should match the risk — higher fidelity only where a workflow question is unresolved.
- Run a usability test with 3-5 target users (or teammates role-playing the persona). Task them with the journeys; observe where they struggle.
- Record findings as usability risks ranked by severity, each tied to a requirement or journey step.
- Feed material findings back into
write-prd(revise requirements) ordefine-acceptance(add usability acceptance criteria). - Write
prototype.mdto the initiative directory.
Output Format
Use the template at skills/pdlc/templates/initiatives/prototype.md. Include the journeys tested, the fidelity used, the findings, and links/references to the artifact itself.
Outcome
If $OUTCOME_YAML is set, emit verdict: drafted (or surface: none).
Completion Checklist
- UI surface confirmed or
surface: nonerecorded - Key journeys tied to requirements
- Usability test run with named participants (or personas)
- Findings ranked and routed back to PRD or acceptance where material
Next Step
Load define-acceptance if not already run, then run the Define gate via make-decision.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

prototype-ux is a skill published in the GitHub repository tomzx/agents (6 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 29 tokens to every session and 477 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
