alligator-index-timing

alligator-index-timing is a skill for Claude Code from Travisun/Opptrix. It costs 96 tokens per session (1,015 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A method for reading the Alligator indicator and the Awesome Oscillator, two technical-analysis measures used to study an index or exchange-traded fund's trend and momentum.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to analyze daily price data for an approved index or ETF, calculate the indicators, and explain the resulting timing or rotation state.
Why use it?
It combines trend alignment with momentum direction to describe whether the market state looks bullish, bearish, or flat, while calling out conflicting signals and assumptions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00096 $0.01015
Opus 5 $0.00048 $0.00508
Sonnet 5 $0.00019 $0.00203
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00102

Security

Grade A, and why

alligator-index-timing scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/alligator_index_timing.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

标的 search_instruments / ask_user 先确认
日 K get_instrument_chartworkspace_write 不编造
计算 opptrix_run 本技能脚本 失败则说明
交付 list_web_vendorcreate_web 可跳过口头要点

步骤

  1. 确认默认 CN 指数/ETF 与参数(periods/lag/ao_window,有默认值)。
  2. 拉取日 K,写入 workspace JSON(bars 含 OHLCV)。
  3. 运行:python scripts/alligator_index_timing.py --input data.json --output result.json
  4. 解读 signal(1/-1/0)与 series(jaw/teeth/lips/ao)。
  5. 分栏结论后默认 create_web

  • 输入:契约见仓库 docs/quants-skill-script-contract.mdparams.periods 默认 (13,8,5)lag 默认 (8,5,3)
  • 输出:ok/signal/series/metrics/assumptions;AO 为研报口径(非 TradingView median price)。

  • 仅 Python 标准库;无 numpy/pandas/talib。

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
