WorkFlowX: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/proseX/SKILL.md

proseX is a skill for Claude Code from TreeX-X/WorkFlowX. It costs 13 tokens per session (202 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A shared writing standard for documents produced by a workflow. It sets rules for tense, complete statements, ownership, timing, failures, and other details.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for writing workflow documents such as change notes, repair instructions, proposals, status reports, code comments, and commit messages.
Why use it?
It keeps related notes, plans, status reports, code comments, and commit messages consistent. This reduces vague wording and makes decisions and behaviour easier to review later.

This is TreeX-X/WorkFlowX's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on WorkFlowX itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything WorkFlowX configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00013 $0.00202
Opus 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00081
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00003 $0.00040
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00020

Measured 7d ago against content hash db686660fb60, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

proseX scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

proseX

Write for a reader without the conversation: responsibilities, conditions, consequences and necessary reasons. Prefer connected plain prose; use tables/lists for genuinely comparable or sequential information.

Current design and implemented decisions state present facts. Planned sections clearly state future intent or unknowns. Tasks describe current progress and evidence, not a growing conversation log.

Keep each fact in its owning document; related documents give enough context and link for detail. A module entry can explain the whole system without copying all child details. Length follows the subject, not a quota.

Decisions explain the problem, choice, credible alternatives (including reuse/do nothing), costs and revisit conditions. Do not claim verification that did not run. Preserve fixed references and stable acceptance IDs.

Summarize changes and actual validation with material gaps. Commit messages describe the change and relevant Note paths. Remove obsolete wording and duplicated process history instead of appending another dated explanation.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

proseX is a skill published in the GitHub repository TreeX-X/WorkFlowX (53 stars, last pushed 8d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 13 tokens to every session and 202 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-11.
