What is compare-salesforce-schema?

A tool for comparing Salesforce object definitions across time or API versions. An API version is a numbered version of the interface used by software to access Salesforce.

Use it to compare schemas, track added fields, check supported API versions, and see what a newer version would expose.

It shows when fields or other object details changed and explains why an API version may not expose a field. This helps assess upgrades and compatibility.
