sq-feedback is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from trySideQuest-ai/sidequest. It costs 11 tokens per session (172 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A feedback tool for the SideQuest quest experience, which is a guided task or challenge. It asks what you think and sends your response to the SideQuest service.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to submit comments about a SideQuest quest and see whether the submission succeeded.
Why use it?
It gives you a direct way to report your experience without finding a separate feedback form. You must be logged in first.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00011 $0.00172
Opus 5 $0.00005 $0.00086
Sonnet 5 $0.00002 $0.00034
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00017

Measured 3d ago against content hash 82839bd670e2, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

sq-feedback scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

What it actually says

SideQuest Feedback

Ask the user what feedback they'd like to share about the quest experience, then send it to the server.

  1. Ask: "What feedback would you like to share about the quest experience?"
  2. Read the auth token from ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_DATA}/config.json
  3. Send the feedback using Bash:
curl -s -X POST https://api.trysidequest.ai/feedback \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <TOKEN>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"text": "<USER_FEEDBACK>"}'
  1. Report success or failure to the user.

If no token exists, tell the user to run /sidequest:sq-login first.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sq-feedback is a skill published in the GitHub repository trySideQuest-ai/sidequest (8 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 11 tokens to every session and 172 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
