Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00032 | $0.00210 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00016 | $0.00105 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00006 | $0.00042 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00021 |
Grade A, and why
handoff scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Write a portable handoff document only when context must travel to another task, directory or worktree, harness, collaborator, or a side task forked mid-phase. Staying in the same task is preferable while the current conversation remains useful; routine context management alone does not require a handoff.
Save the handoff to the operating system's temporary directory, not the current workspace.
Include a "suggested skills" section in the document, which suggests skills that the agent should invoke.
Do not duplicate content already captured in other artifacts (specs, plans, ADRs, issues, commits, diffs). Reference them by path or URL instead.
Redact any sensitive information, such as API keys, passwords, or personally identifiable information.
If the user passed arguments, treat them as a description of what the next session will focus on and tailor the doc accordingly.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

handoff is a skill published in the GitHub repository tsai09495/matt-pocock-engineering (2 stars, last pushed 14d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 32 tokens to every session and 210 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.

eo-handoff
A session handoff tool that writes a small recovery note to a repository's tmp/ directory before you clear the conversation. The note records the current state, decisions, important files, and next steps.
close-my-loops
Build and maintain a personal work profile and open-loop tracker for the user's own job — a markdown file covering their org, key contacts, communication style, active initiatives, and open loops synthesized from their own email/Slack; a Cowork Project setup so that file is actually read every session; a scheduled…
knowledge-coach
Organize knowledge, detect recurring friction, plan review, and provide evidence-based encouragement without making unsupported psychological claims.
session-harbor
Operate a dedicated Codex session-management task: show backup progress and inventories, configure retention, safely back up or clean verified local Codex sessions, restore sessions, exchange cross-device evidence, or migrate legacy archives. Do not use for ordinary project-file backups or ChatGPT web conversations.
Cortex
Operate Cortex, the LifeOS memory system — the typed Knowledge Archive (People, Companies, Ideas, Research with typed related: links) plus recall of prior work sessions, ISAs, and conversations. Search, add, harvest, develop, ingest, distill, graph-navigate, recall. USE WHEN cortex, knowledge, knowledge base, search…
