aggregate-query

A tool for summarizing Salesforce data with totals, averages, minimums, maximums, counts, and groups.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to calculate and group results with Salesforce queries, including rollups, nested groupings, filters on grouped results, and calendar-based date groups.
Why use it?
It avoids retrieving every individual record when you need an overall result or a breakdown by category or date.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00116 $0.01865
Opus 5 $0.00058 $0.00932
Sonnet 5 $0.00023 $0.00373
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00186

Security

Grade A, and why

aggregate-query scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/aggregate.js), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

SOQL Aggregate Query

Run aggregate SOQL queries against a connected Salesforce org. This skill handles queries with aggregate functions (SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX, COUNT) combined with GROUP BY, ROLLUP, CUBE, and HAVING.

Prerequisites

You must be authenticated to a Salesforce org before running queries. If not authenticated, run the authentication script first.

Authentication

If the user is not authenticated or gets an auth error, run the authentication script:

node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/sf-auth.js --status

To authenticate interactively (opens browser):

node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/sf-auth.js --alias <alias>

To authenticate to a sandbox:

node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/sf-auth.js --alias <alias> --instance-url https://test.salesforce.com

See scripts/sf-auth.js --help for all authentication options.

Usage

node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/aggregate-query/scripts/aggregate.js "<SOQL>" [options]

Examples

# SUM
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/aggregate-query/scripts/aggregate.js "SELECT StageName, SUM(Amount) FROM Opportunity GROUP BY StageName"

# Multiple aggregate functions
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/aggregate-query/scripts/aggregate.js "SELECT StageName, COUNT(Id), SUM(Amount), AVG(Amount), MIN(CloseDate), MAX(CloseDate) FROM Opportunity GROUP BY StageName"

# GROUP BY ROLLUP (hierarchical subtotals + grand total)
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/aggregate-query/scripts/aggregate.js "SELECT LeadSource, Rating, COUNT(Id) FROM Lead GROUP BY ROLLUP(LeadSource, Rating)"

# GROUP BY CUBE (all-combination subtotals)
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/aggregate-query/scripts/aggregate.js "SELECT Type, BillingState, COUNT(Id) FROM Account GROUP BY CUBE(Type, BillingState)"

# HAVING clause

# HAVING with aggregate comparison
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/aggregate-query/scripts/aggregate.js "SELECT AccountId, COUNT(Id) FROM Contact GROUP BY AccountId HAVING COUNT(Id) >= 3"

# GROUP BY with ORDER BY aggregate alias
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/aggregate-query/scripts/aggregate.js "SELECT StageName, SUM(Amount) total FROM Opportunity GROUP BY StageName ORDER BY SUM(Amount) DESC"

# Calendar functions in GROUP BY

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

aggregate-query is a skill published in the GitHub repository tsmztech/claude-code-plugins (2 stars, last pushed 6mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 116 tokens to every session and 1,865 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
