Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

| Fable 5.1 | $0.00043 | $0.03118 |

Grade A, and why
fact-check scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 125 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Fact-check
Every number, quote, date and attribution in the piece traces to a source the reader could open. What can't be traced gets attributed, relabelled or cut. The ledger is the record; the edited piece is the result.
"Verified" means a source you read in this run says it, in the same sense the piece uses it. It never means "sounds right" or "I remember this".
Keep the boundary clear
- This skill owns truth: whether each claim is supported, by what, as of when.
- Use the
humanizeskill for voice and synthetic-sounding prose. Use thelanding-pageskill when the page's argument or structure is the problem. Run this skill after either of them, because rewrites create new claims. - Researching a topic from scratch is not this job. This skill starts from a draft, a deck, a script or a list of claims.
Choose the mode
Infer the mode and state it in one line, so the user can correct it.
- Audit (default): a draft with no single source. Check every claim against the open web, primary first.
- Source check: the user supplies the source (a transcript, a report, a document, a dataset, an interview) and the piece is built from it. Every claim must trace to a location in that source: timestamp, page, line or cell. A claim that is true elsewhere but absent from the source is flagged "not in source", because the piece presents it as the source's.
- Pre-publish gate: the piece is final or nearly final. Return pass or fail with a blocking list. Reuse an earlier ledger if one exists: re-check only changed text, volatile facts and anything checked more than about 90 days ago. Fix nothing beyond the blocking list without asking.
Before extracting claims
- Read the whole piece once, including headlines, captions, alt text, speaker notes, chart labels, footnotes and image text. Note the audience, the publish date (planned or actual) and the one claim the piece stands on. That central claim is checked first.
- Fix today's date. Write it at the top of the ledger. Every "as of", every "recently" and every day count is measured from it or from the publish date.
- Define terms before judging anything. For every product, model, law, metric or event the piece names, search it before evaluating claims about it. If a name is unfamiliar, assume it is newer than your training data, not that it is wrong or a typo. Never substitute a guessed meaning. If the piece uses a term in a sense its primary source doesn't, that is a finding.
- Check access. Without web access, say so in one line, run source check against whatever the user supplied, and mark every other claim
unverifiable (not checked). Never mark a claim verified from memory. Training data is a lead, not a source.
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

fact-check is a skill published in the GitHub repository tushaarmehtaa/tushar-skills (12 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 43 tokens to every session and 3,118 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-05.
