Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00068 $0.00895
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.00447
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.00179
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00089

Security

Grade A, and why

seo scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/validate-seo-report.mjs), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 85 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

SEO

Improve organic-search readiness without inventing rankings, traffic, indexing, or business outcomes.

Invocation

  • Direct: $seo <target or request>.
  • Plugin: $codex-chef-workflows:seo <target or request>.
  • Implicit activation is allowed only for unambiguous SEO work.

Evidence Contract

Read intake-and-evidence.md first. Declare the strongest authorized scope: local-source, local-rendered, deployed-public, or authorized-private. Source, browser, deployed HTTP, field, Search Console, and analytics evidence are not interchangeable. Unknown market or account inputs become explicit gaps; they never become fabricated conclusions.

For research-heavy market, competitor, or literature work, route collection to $evidence-research and bring only traceable claims back into the SEO decision.

Workflow

  1. Read repo instructions, stack, routes, deployment assumptions, and dirty state. Inventory templates before sampling pages.
  2. Audit discovery, status, redirects, robots, sitemap, canonicalization, internal links, and indexability using technical-seo.md.
  3. Compare initial HTML with a real rendered browser and inspect hydration, links, console, resources, mobile states, and measured performance using javascript-and-rendering.md.
  4. Inspect visible meaning, metadata, headings, images, truthful schema, locale alternates, and intent fit using structured-data.md, content-and-growth.md, and international-and-local.md.
  5. When implementation is requested, fix the smallest coherent root cause in the existing stack. Then run repo checks and the evidence-specific browser, HTTP, schema, lab, field, or account validation.
  6. Classify findings as proven, inferred, hypothesis, or not-checked; prioritize them with measurement-and-roadmap.md.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
