Matter context

Purpose
A DSAR has a statutory deadline (1 calendar month under UK GDPR Art.12(3), extendable by 2 further months for complex or numerous requests), a process (verify, locate, assess exemptions, respond), and a number of places it can go wrong. This skill walks through each step and drafts the response.
Jurisdiction assumption
This analysis assumes UK GDPR and DPA 2018 as the primary regime. If the data subject is in the EU and EU GDPR also applies, note the potential parallel obligation — deadlines are the same (1 month) but the exemption regime differs slightly.
