Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00096 | $0.03853 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00048 | $0.01927 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00019 | $0.00771 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00385 |
Grade A, and why
hiring-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 229 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

- Load
~/.claude/plugins/config/uk-legal-plugins/employment-legal-uk/CLAUDE.md→ jurisdictional footprint, hiring review triggers, restrictive covenant policy. - Use the workflow below.
- Check: Right to Work, employment status, written particulars, restrictive covenants, Equality Act pre-employment obligations.
- Flag anything that hits the jurisdiction-specific escalation table.
Matter context
Matter context. Check ## Matter workspaces in the practice-level CLAUDE.md. If Enabled is ✗ (the default for in-house users), skip the rest of this paragraph — skills use practice-level context and the matter machinery is invisible. If enabled and there is no active matter, ask: "Which matter is this for? Run /employment-legal-uk:matter-workspace switch <slug> or say practice-level." Load the active matter's matter.md for matter-specific context and overrides. Write outputs to the matter folder at ~/.claude/plugins/config/uk-legal-plugins/employment-legal-uk/matters/<matter-slug>/. Never read another matter's files unless Cross-matter context is on.
Purpose
Offer letters are mostly boilerplate until they're not. The Right to Work check, Written Statement of Particulars, employment status call, and restrictive covenant analysis are where this skill earns its keep. It does not state the law — every jurisdiction-specific rule is researched and cited at the time of review.
Load context
~/.claude/plugins/config/uk-legal-plugins/employment-legal-uk/CLAUDE.md → jurisdictional footprint, hiring review triggers, restrictive covenant policy, offer letter template location.
Output header
Prepend the work-product header from ~/.claude/plugins/config/uk-legal-plugins/employment-legal-uk/CLAUDE.md → ## Outputs (it differs by user role — see ## Who's using this).
Workflow
Step 1: Jurisdiction
Where will this person work? Not where HQ is — where they are.
- England & Wales: primary jurisdiction. ERA 1996 / EqA 2010 / WTR 1998 apply.
- Scotland: same statutory framework; some procedural differences.
- Northern Ireland: parallel legislation (Employment Rights (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 etc.) — flag explicitly; the rules largely mirror GB but are not identical.
- Remote / hybrid: the employee's home jurisdiction governs employment rights regardless of where the employer is based.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

hiring-review is a skill published in the GitHub repository uk-agents/uk-legal-plugins (9 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 96 tokens to every session and 3,853 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
