Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Security

Grade A, and why

dark-aesthetic-prompt scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Dark Aesthetic Prompt

What This Skill Does

Generates a Flux prompt for dark, moody, or noir visual aesthetics — producing images with low-key lighting, shadow-dominant composition, and the specific atmospheric quality of noir cinema, gothic illustration, or dark editorial photography.

When To Use This Skill

  • You are producing imagery for a true crime, thriller, horror, or investigative journalism project and need visuals that match the subject's emotional register
  • You want podcast artwork, YouTube thumbnails, or newsletter headers with a dark, atmospheric aesthetic
  • You are art-directing a documentary or editorial project with a dark visual identity and need reference images or test shots
  • You want to establish a dark visual system for a brand, show, or publication

What You Need To Provide

Required:

  • The subject or scene to depict
  • The type of dark aesthetic you want: noir (high-contrast, 1940s–50s crime film), gothic (architectural, atmospheric, romantic darkness), dark editorial (contemporary moody photography), grimdark (fantasy/horror illustration), or industrial/brutalist (concrete, hard shadow, urban decay)

Optional:

  • Specific color temperature (cold blue-black, warm amber-black, monochrome)
  • The intended use (thumbnail, cover art, editorial image, background)
  • Any reference films, photographers, or artists whose aesthetic you want to approach
  • What the image should evoke emotionally: dread, mystery, melancholy, tension, isolation
  • Aspect ratio and platform

How the Assistant Approaches This

  1. Identifies the specific flavor of dark aesthetic being requested — noir, gothic, grimdark, and dark editorial are distinct languages with different lighting grammar, palette, and composition conventions
  2. Builds the scene description around the darkness: what is in shadow, what is in light, and what the relationship between shadow and light communicates
  3. Applies the appropriate technical references: for noir, classic Hollywood side-lighting and chiaroscuro; for dark editorial, contemporary low-key photography; for gothic, candle or moon light with architectural gloom
  4. Adds atmosphere through specific environmental details — fog, rain, rusted surfaces, peeling paint, empty streets — rather than just "dark background"
  5. Calibrates the negative prompt to actively exclude the most common failure modes for dark aesthetics in Flux: overexposed highlights, loss of shadow detail, unintentional murkiness
  6. Closes with a "Next Step" note: how many generations to run before selecting (dark aesthetics require more variation runs than standard prompts), whether to test at thumbnail size before committing to the final image, and whether to run cover-image-pipeline for the full asset production workflow

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
