Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00025 | $0.03236 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00010 | $0.01294 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00647 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00324 |
Grade C, and why
pi-update scanned grade C with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 23d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Hidden instructionshighPrompt injection
Directives inside HTML comments, invisible characters or bidirectional overrides are read by the model and not by the person reviewing the file.

Pi update
Checks pi-extensions/* against a Pi release and records one verdict. The record is pi-extensions/pi-update.audit.md, the one compatibility record. The marker pi-extensions/pi-update.state.json only says which releases were read. The rule the verdict applies is pi-extensions/AGENTS.md.
Release handling
- Pin nothing, freeze nothing, hold no release back. Fleet lanes follow the vendor's latest Pi through the fleet's
fleet-cli-update. Aholdverdict stops a peer floor from rising, never a lane from updating. - Start the run as soon as a new release is seen.
- The Linear item a new Pi release creates, and every follow-up a failing run files, is priority High (2), never Backlog. A failing run is fixed forward, never by pinning Pi to an older release.
Input
- No argument: the target is npm's current
latestof@earendil-works/pi-coding-agent. - A version: that version is the target. Every source is still fetched.
- A pasted changelog: the authoritative entry list for the range; changelog fetching is skipped. The target is the highest released version header in the paste, and step 1 captures that version.
1. Capture the target
Read the target once, at the start, and use these values for the whole run:
npm view @earendil-works/pi-coding-agent@<latest|version> version dist.integrity gitHead
gh api repos/earendil-works/pi/commits/v<version> --jq .sha
The two commit values must match; a mismatch stops the run. Record the version, the integrity, the upstream source commit and git rev-parse HEAD as the run-start head.
Create this run's own directory with mkdir -p tmp/pi-update && mktemp -d tmp/pi-update/run.XXXXXX; <run> is the path it prints, and the record's Evidence names it. A retry starts a new <run>. Write the candidate record under tmp/pi-update/. The committed pi-update.audit.md keeps the last cleared record until step 6 replaces it.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

pi-update is a skill published in the GitHub repository vanillagreencom/kendex (87 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 25 tokens to every session and 3,236 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it C with 1 finding (hidden instructions). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-01.

prose-review
Review prose written for others (e.g., user-facing documentation, prompts for other LLMs, reports, plans, inline comments, docstrings) for local jargon leakage, orphaned references, missing grounding, and audience or genre mismatch. Search indexed text corpora with qmd. For indexed content, prefer qmd over grep.
rp
Always read this skill when the user mentions "rp" or "repoprompt", or before accessing a repository outside the current RepoPrompt workspace. Covers workspace discovery, binding, root verification, and workspace hygiene.

Verify that a portable Agent Plugin loaded correctly in Pi by checking this skill and calling the bundled official MCP everything test server. Use when testing pi-agent-plugins installation, skill discovery, MCP trust, or MCP tool connectivity.
