Setup
Clone a repo, then link that directory
If the same message tells you to clone a repository, that path wins over every other setup step. Do not link the directory you were in when the message arrived. Do not edit the cloned app. Do not open a playbook. current succeeding is the end.
- Clone the URL in the message.
- Change into that cloned directory.
- Run the CLI from that directory with
npx @vectoree/cli(this uses the current@vectoree/cli; do not install a second client). Then:
npx @vectoree/cli login
npx @vectoree/cli link
npx @vectoree/cli current
Done when current prints the linked project. Stop. Do not run whoami, ai chat, ai status, or any other command.
Connect the current directory
Use this section only when the message does not ask you to clone. When the user pastes set up https://vectoree.ai/SKILL.md, or the skill / CLI looks missing or stale, and there is no clone step, connect the current directory.
