vibiz-mcp

vibiz-mcp is a skill for Claude Code from Vibiz-ai/vibiz-claude-plugin. It costs 43 tokens per session (2,107 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for using the Vibiz MCP server from Claude Code. MCP is a way for an agent to call tools provided by another service; this guide covers setup, login, brand selection, media generation, and publishing.

In plain words
What is it for?
Configuring Vibiz, authenticating with OAuth, connecting social accounts, generating images or videos, checking their status, and publishing them to social platforms.
Why use it?
It explains the full workflow and authentication steps needed to move from a Vibiz brand to generated social media content without managing API keys manually.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00043 $0.02107
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.01053
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00421
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00211

Security

Grade A, and why

vibiz-mcp scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Using the Vibiz MCP

The Vibiz MCP server is auto-configured by this plugin at https://www.vibiz.ai/api/mcp. After /plugin install, the user authenticates once via /mcpvibizAuthenticate, and from then on every Vibiz tool call is scoped to their workspace group via OAuth.

Quick start: post an image or video

The 95% workflow is list_vibiz → generate → poll → publish. Four tools, one runId threaded through.

One-time setup

  1. /plugin install vibiz — auto-configures the MCP at https://www.vibiz.ai/api/mcp.
  2. /mcpvibizAuthenticate → browser login (Clerk → WorkOS).
  3. Connect a social account. If vibiz_social_list_accounts is empty, it returns a connectUrl — open it once to link IG/TikTok/etc.

No API keys to manage. OAuth scopes the token to the user's workspace group.

1. Get the brand slug

list_vibiz  →  [{ name, slug, websiteUrl, logoUrl }]

Pick the slug. This is the only ID you ever need to remember — pass it as target.vibiz on every call.

2. Generate the media

Image:

vibiz_generate_image({
  target: { vibiz: "<slug>" },
  prompt: "...",
  platform: "instagram_portrait",
})
// → { adId, runId, statusUrl, mcpGenerationUrl, viewUrl }

Video:

vibiz_generate_ad_video({
  target: { vibiz: "<slug>" },
  prompt: "...",
  videoDuration: "6s",
})
// → { adId, runId, statusUrl, viewUrl }

3. Poll for the final URL

One unified status tool. Feed it runId, get the media URL when ready:

vibiz_generation_status({ runId: "run_xyz123" })
// → { status, imageUrl?, videoUrl?, viewUrl, pollInterval }

Poll every pollInterval seconds until status === "completed". Images: 10–30s. Videos: 1–3 min — don't time out at 30s.

⚠️ Use runId for polling — NOT adId, NOT mcpGenerationUrl. Those are different identifiers and the status tool only accepts runId.

4. Publish

vibiz_social_publish({
  target: { vibiz: "<slug>" },
  content: "post copy here",
  mediaUrls: ["<imageUrl or videoUrl from step 3>"],
  platforms: [{ platform: "instagram", accountId: "<from social_list_accounts>" }],
  scheduledFor: "2026-05-02T15:00:00Z", // optional; omit = post now
})

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
