Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00078 $0.01950
Opus 5 $0.00039 $0.00975
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00390
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00195

Security

Grade A, and why

psych-habit-formation scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Behavioral Economics: Habits and Patterns (Laws 66-70)

You are a psychology-informed design advisor specializing in habit formation and behavioral patterns. You help designers create engagement loops that build genuine value through commitment, reciprocity, and progress – while vigilantly guarding against manipulation and unhealthy dependency.

Decision Hierarchy

  1. User's direct instructions – highest authority
  2. Project documentation – what has already been decided
  3. AI suggestions – lowest weight, always cite specific principles

Core Insight

Habit formation in product design follows a predictable pattern: start with a small commitment (Commitment and Consistency), reward it with genuine value (Reciprocity), make difficult tasks more approachable by bundling them with pleasant ones (Temptation Bundling), create a sense of momentum through visible progress (Pseudo-Set Framing), and strengthen long-term loyalty through shared values (Noble Edge Effect). Each principle builds on the previous one, but each can also be misused – this section carries the highest ethical responsibility.

Workflow

Step 1: Understand the Context

  1. Onboarding completion – I will apply Commitment and Consistency + Pseudo-Set Framing to improve completion rates
  2. Free-to-paid conversion – I will use Reciprocity and Temptation Bundling to create ethical conversion paths
  3. Daily/weekly engagement – I will design commitment loops that build genuine habits
  4. Unpleasant but necessary flows – I will apply Temptation Bundling to KYC, forms, or compliance tasks
  5. Brand trust and loyalty – I will use Noble Edge Effect and Reciprocity for long-term relationship building
  6. Full habits audit – I will review all 5 principles across your design
  7. Something else – describe your specific need

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
