svg-creator-expert

svg-creator-expert is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from vosslab/vosslab-skills. It costs 56 tokens per session (1,457 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for creating and editing finished, editable SVG images from plain-language requests. SVG is a file format for drawings that can be resized and changed without losing sharpness.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to make icons, diagrams, scenes, scientific figures, technical illustrations, or other SVG artwork, and to edit, debug, animate, or optimize existing SVG files.
Why use it?
It removes the need to draw vector artwork by hand or translate a visual idea into SVG code yourself. It also helps check whether the rendered image looks right for its intended use.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00056 $0.01457
Opus 5 $0.00028 $0.00728
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00291
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00146

Security

Grade A, and why

svg-creator-expert scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

SVG creator expert

Overview

Turn an image request into a finished SVG file whose subject is recognizable, geometry is editable, style is coherent, and rendered result fits its actual use. A request such as "make an SVG of a garbage dumpster" means create the SVG and inspect its render as the completed response. Infer reasonable visual defaults for unspecified details.

Use the local-only books as working drawing references when they are available. Read focused passages for shape construction, perspective, line hierarchy, vector layering, shading, and SVG implementation before drawing. Subject references establish what the requested object looks like; the local books establish how to construct and communicate it. For ordinary manufactured objects, use Scott Robertson's audited How to Draw conversion as the key construction reference and pair it with an SVG implementation source.

Instruction style

Use positive, outcome-directed language in implementation notes, prompts, and delegation briefs. State the desired artifact, construction method, visual qualities, and verification evidence. Omit irrelevant tools and alternatives. Name a restrictive boundary when safety or correctness requires it, then pair it with the intended action.

Workflow

  1. Commit to the requested artifact.
  • Default to producing an editable .svg file at the requested or project-appropriate location. Keep the editable SVG as the source deliverable and use raster previews as verification evidence.
  • Route ordinary requests to object illustration first. Select the matching alternate route for a diagram, scientific figure, technical drawing, generative artwork, interactive graphic, or existing-asset repair.
  • Read references/task_selection.md. For an object, icon, piece of equipment, or small scene, read references/object_illustration.md.
  • For a bounded change to one object, color, label, component, or state in an existing SVG, read references/targeted_editing.md.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
