Skills-Agent: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/motion-ui/SKILL.md

motion-ui is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from VoTruongDanh/Skills-Agent. It costs 88 tokens per session (3,764 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A UI design guide for adding subtle Framer Motion animations, clear interaction states, and consistent styling to web interfaces. It also accounts for reduced-motion accessibility settings.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when building motion-rich pages or components with hover, tap, loading, success, or error feedback. It helps decide which animations and styling tokens to apply.
Why use it?
It helps avoid confusing state changes and distracting animations by defining purposeful feedback for actions such as loading, success, errors, and disabled controls.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00088 $0.03764
Opus 5 $0.00044 $0.01882
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00753
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00376

Security

Grade A, and why

motion-ui scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 500 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Memory Protocol

START: Read .ai-memory.md from project root. Check design tokens, motion patterns, component library, animation conventions, and accessibility settings (prefers-reduced-motion). END: Update .ai-memory.md using Memory Compaction Rules with: motion patterns used, components created, animation decisions, and accessibility notes.

Goal

Create a clean, modern UI with subtle Framer Motion micro-interactions, clear states (idle/loading/success/error), and consistent styling via CSS variables/tokens. Motion should be purposeful, smooth, and enhance user experience without being distracting.

Design Philosophy (AMUI Principles)

1. Clarity-First

  • States are always clear: idle / hover / active / loading / success / error / disabled
  • Visual feedback for every interaction
  • No ambiguous UI states

2. Motion with Purpose

Animation is not decoration, but serves to:

  • Guide user attention
  • Show system response
  • Reduce jarring/abrupt UI changes
  • Provide feedback and context

3. Subtle Micro-Interactions

  • Hover: scale 1.01–1.02
  • Tap/Active: scale 0.97–0.98
  • No excessive bounce or dramatic effects
  • Keep it elegant and professional

4. Immediate Feedback

  • Validation shows instantly
  • Submit actions show loading state
  • Success shows with green check animation
  • Errors show with alert animation

5. Brand Ambient Layer (Optional)

  • Gradient backgrounds with blur orbs
  • Dot grid patterns
  • Subtle noise textures
  • Use sparingly for auth/landing/empty states

Technical Stack

Required

  • Framer Motion (motion, AnimatePresence) for smooth transitions
  • CSS Variables for design tokens (colors, spacing, timing)
  • Tailwind CSS or global CSS for styling

Recommended

  • Lucide Icons for clean, consistent iconography
  • TypeScript for type-safe components

Design Tokens System

Surface Colors

--c-bg: /* main background */
--c-surface: /* card/panel background */
--c-surface-2: /* hover surface */

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

motion-ui is a skill published in the GitHub repository VoTruongDanh/Skills-Agent (2 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 88 tokens to every session and 3,764 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
