Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00046 | $0.00842 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00018 | $0.00337 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00009 | $0.00168 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00084 |
Grade A, and why
evolving-database-schemas scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 61 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Evolving Database Schemas
The standards own the rules. Release Cutover requires migrations to be explicit, never run at startup, and a release that carries one to wait for an expand, migrate, and verify sequence that keeps the previous version able to read. Test-Driven Development governs the tests each step adds. This skill covers the judgement of sequencing a schema change so that both the old and the new version of the code keep working at every moment.
Two Versions Run at Once
During any rollout the previous version and the new one read and write the same store, and a rollback brings the previous version back. A schema change is safe only when every version that can be running at that moment understands the store. Renaming a column in one step breaks whichever version expects the other name.
Expand, Migrate, Verify, Contract
- Expand. Add the new shape beside the old: a new nullable column, a new table, a new index built without blocking writes. Nothing reads it yet, and the previous version ignores it. This release is safe to roll back.
- Migrate. Ship code that writes both shapes, then backfill existing rows in bounded, idempotent batches that can stop and resume. Reads still come from the old shape.
- Verify. Prove the shapes agree with a deterministic check, such as matching counts or a query that finds no row where they differ, then switch reads to the new shape in its own release.
- Contract. Only once no running or rollback-eligible version reads the old shape, remove it in a later release. This is the one step that cannot be rolled back, so it waits until the verification has held through a release.
Each step is its own release, and each is proven before the next begins. Collapsing two steps into one release removes the point at which the previous version could still run.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

evolving-database-schemas is a skill published in the GitHub repository wahidyankf/ose-public (12 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 46 tokens to every session and 842 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-14.

publish-npm-version
Cuts the next release of Prisma 8: bumps the root package.json version (on the v8 RC line: 8.0.0-rc.N → rc.N+1), propagates it to every workspace package, and opens a PR titled "chore(release): bump to ". When the maintainer merges the PR, the Publish to npm workflow runs automatically and ships the new version to npm…
