Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00064 | $0.01275 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00026 | $0.00510 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00013 | $0.00255 |

Grade A, and why
goal-pulse scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 68 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Goal Pulse
Advance the current Goal at the fastest effective pace. Spend work on the deliverable: no stalling, busywork, or substituting plans and reports for execution. A pulse is a cue to act, not a request for another status report.
Act on the bottleneck
- When a worker delivers a complete artifact, read it promptly, verify the remaining obligation, and perform the next authorized acceptance or handoff step. Do not leave it waiting for a batch.
- Delegate substantial bounded work through the user's authorized workers. Give each worker the complete target, real inputs, owned files and acceptance method. Preserve the agreed division of labor.
- If the same blocker survives two worker rounds without meaningful progress, take over the specific gap or change the decomposition. Preserve the source, failed evidence and session; transfer ownership before editing. A healthy long computation or a new verified result is progress.
- Keep independent work moving while a blocked line has a saved breakpoint. Reuse working code, caches and valid checks. Repair the missing connection without restarting the whole task.
- Choose the next action that changes the deliverable. Cut repetitive polling, cosmetic rewrites, speculative corner cases and repeated reviews of unchanged work. Run checks that resolve an actual uncertainty or meet a stated requirement.
- Count complete accepted deliverables. Keep the original target, difficulty, acceptance criteria, authorization and budget. Queued jobs and partial modules remain work in progress.
Use the project's existing state files for essential breakpoints. Give normal progress updates and answer the user; do not write an extra acknowledgement or report just because a pulse arrived.
Choose the host route first
Claude Code: read the native cron instructions.
Use CronList, CronCreate, and CronDelete in the current conversation, or the
documented /loop 30m equivalent. Start or resume of /goal, or an explicitly
authorized long autonomous task, enables reminders by default after installation.
Dispatch start, status, stop, or pulse before acting: a scheduled pulse
executes one reminder and never creates another cron. Honor a user's opt-out until
they ask to enable reminders again. Only the main agent manages the reminder.
Continue in that reference; the Python commands below belong to Codex.
What ships with it
4 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

goal-pulse is a skill published in the GitHub repository wanshuiyin/HERO-Anti-OverDefense (786 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 64 tokens to every session and 1,275 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-02.
