Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00080 | $0.01390 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00040 | $0.00695 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00016 | $0.00278 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00008 | $0.00139 |
Grade A, and why
ac-meta-skill-writer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 220 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Skill Writer
Expert guide for creating SKILL.md skills.
Compatibility Note
This pi wrapper preserves the original skill authoring target. The wrapper only adapts invocation to pi; it does not retarget the generated skill format.
Purpose
Generate precise SKILL.md files that comply with the target skill specification:
- Validate naming constraints (64 chars, lowercase/numbers/hyphens only, no reserved words)
- Enforce description requirements (1024 chars max, third person, trigger keywords)
- Apply tool minimalism (only grant necessary tools)
- Ensure project-agnostic field is explicitly set
- Maintain file structure constraints (under 500 lines, one-level references)
Variables
None - skill-writer has no runtime configuration.
Instructions
1. Understand Request
Parse user request to determine:
- Skill purpose and scope
- Target operations (read-only, write, refactor, workflow)
- Project-specific vs reusable
2. Validate Constraints (BLOCKING)
STOP. Validate BEFORE generating.
| Field | Constraint |
|---|---|
name |
Max 64 chars, /^[a-z0-9-]+$/, no "anthropic"/"claude" |
description |
Max 1024 chars, third person, includes "Triggers on keywords:" |
project-agnostic |
REQUIRED - must be explicitly true or false |
Frontmatter quoting rule:
- Wrap
descriptionin double quotes in YAML frontmatter. - Wrap any other frontmatter string field in double quotes too when it contains YAML-significant or syntax-looking content, such as
:,[],{},#,&,*,?,|,>,@, backticks, or leading/trailing whitespace.
See cookbook/validation.md for detailed checks.
3. Select Pattern
Choose from templates/:
skill-template.md- Comprehensive template with all sections
4. Generate SKILL.md
Apply template with validated values. Follow structure from templates/skill-template.md.
5. Verify (BLOCKING)
STOP. Verify before delivery.
- Line count under 500
descriptionis wrapped in double quotes in YAML frontmatter- Any other YAML-sensitive frontmatter string values are double-quoted
- No bash execution pattern (exclamation-backtick sequence)
- All paths use forward slashes
- References are one-level deep
What ships with it
4 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ac-meta-skill-writer is a skill published in the GitHub repository WaterplanAI/agentic-config (30 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 80 tokens to every session and 1,390 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.

vfx-text-cursor
A video or hero-frame effect where a cursor reveals a sentence character by character with coloured trails, light streaks, and a final shimmer.
curate-a-team-library
Use when building a managed team skills library for a real stack. Map work to shelves, browse before curating, write meaningful whyHere notes, and create a starter pack once the first pass is solid.
migrate-skills-between-libraries
Use when moving skills between library workspaces or upgrading from a personal library to a team library. Export from one workspace, import into another.
audit-library-health
Use when checking the overall health of a skills library. Run doctor, validate, check for stale skills, and verify generated docs are in sync.
install-from-remote-library
Use when installing skills from a shared ai-agent-skills library repo. Inspect with --list first, prefer --collection, and preview with --dry-run before installing.
review-a-skill
Use when evaluating whether a skill belongs in a library. Preview content, check frontmatter, validate structure, and decide whether to keep, curate, or remove.
