Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00018 | $0.08263 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00009 | $0.04131 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00004 | $0.01653 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00002 | $0.00826 |
Grade A, and why
elastic-sip-trunking scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 612 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
name: elastic-sip-trunking description: Elastic SIP Trunking deep guide — trunk lifecycle, origination/termination routing, recording, security, auth, disaster recovery, capacity planning. Use when connecting enterprise PBX/SBC to PSTN via Twilio trunking, configuring origination URLs, setting up trunk recording, or debugging SIP connectivity.
Elastic SIP Trunking
Deep guide for Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking. For the high-level comparison of SIP Interface vs Elastic SIP Trunking vs BYOC, see /skills/sip-byoc.md. This skill covers the trunking-specific depth: full API surface, live-tested behaviors, provisioning patterns, and diagnostics.
Evidence date: 2026-03-28. Tested against account prefix AC1cb3.
Scope
CAN
- Provide a pure PSTN conduit between your PBX/SBC and the public telephone network
- Route inbound PSTN calls to your infrastructure via configurable origination URLs with priority/weight failover
- Route outbound calls from your PBX through Twilio to the PSTN (termination)
- Record all calls on a trunk (trunk-level recording with 5 mode options)
- Authenticate via IP ACL, credential list, or both simultaneously
- Enable TLS/SRTP encryption (secure trunking) per trunk
- Assign Twilio phone numbers to trunks for inbound routing
- Configure disaster recovery URLs for failover
- Enable CNAM lookup on inbound calls
- Control SIP REFER transfer behavior per trunk
- Monitor call quality via Voice Insights (
callType=trunking) - Use multiple origination URLs per trunk for load balancing and failover
- Associate multiple IP ACLs and credential lists per trunk
CANNOT
- Run TwiML, Studio Flows, or any Programmable Voice logic — calls bypass PV entirely
- Record individual calls selectively — trunk recording is all-or-nothing for the trunk
- Use
<Gather>,<Conference>,<Enqueue>, or any TwiML verbs - Use TaskRouter, ConversationRelay, or any PV-dependent features
- Register SIP endpoints — trunking is INVITE-only (registration is a SIP Interface feature)
- Set per-call webhooks or status callbacks — there is no webhook surface
- Use real-time transcription (
<Start><Transcription>) on trunk calls - Route based on caller ID, time of day, or any call attribute — routing is trunk-level, not per-call
- Port numbers between trunks without removing and re-associating them
- Use Answering Machine Detection (AMD) — AMD does not work with SIP Trunking
- Use non-G.711 codecs (G.729, Opus, AMR-NB) without Limited Availability enrollment
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

elastic-sip-trunking is a skill published in the GitHub repository wittyreference/twilio-claude-plugin (2 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 18 tokens to every session and 8,263 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
