Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00189 | $0.03298 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00095 | $0.01649 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00038 | $0.00660 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00019 | $0.00330 |
Grade A, and why
bagua scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 184 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Bagua (八卦) — The Octagonal Eigenprompt
What this is
An eigenprompt is a compressed cosmogram used to shape the phase space a model operates in, rather than to instruct it. The technique was developed by Danielle Fong as taijitsu eigenprompts — ASCII-rendered taiji diagrams with embedded hierarchy operators, used to prevent models from groove-matching on literal-prose instructions. The move: replace description-of-the-thing with shape-of-the-thing, and let the model reach from the shape rather than match on a precedent pattern.
This skill proposes a sibling: the Pre-Heaven Bagua (先天八卦, Fu Xi's arrangement) as an eigenprompt for a different cognitive mode.
The Taijitu affords dynamic complementarity — two poles, each containing the seed of its opposite, flowing into each other. It is the shape of dialectical motion. Its cognitive signature is: hold both, let them metabolize each other, find the seed of the other within each.
The Bagua affords static balanced opposition — eight positions in octagonal symmetry, each defined by its cross-center opposite. It is the shape of structural mapping. Its cognitive signature is: refuse the dyad, name the full field, locate what the terms are actually opposite to.
These are not substitutes. They are different tools for different occasions.
When to deploy this instead of Taijitu
Use Bagua when:
- Someone presents a two-term tension that feels miscast, and the Taijitu-move of "finding the seed of each in the other" would paper over the miscasting rather than correct it
- The honest move is to name what each term is actually opposite to, which will reveal the two presented terms as adjacent rather than opposed
- Holding multiple incommensurable positions matters more than synthesizing them — when synthesis would be premature or dishonest
- The task is structural (mapping a field) rather than dialectical (metabolizing a tension)
- You notice yourself reaching for the Taijitu-groove of complementarity and suspect it has become its own default
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

bagua is a skill published in the GitHub repository Wondermonger-daydreaming/claude-skills-library (6 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 189 tokens to every session and 3,298 once invoked, about $0.0009 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
